Paul was a very nice person to deal with, explained everything in layman's terms.If you want help with a purchase or guidance then you won't do better, these people are experts, whether beginner or experienced they will help as much as possible.

Sounds like they went bust after selling me an item ... I paid extra for next day delivery, it finally arrived over a week later (too late as it was a present), I sent numerous emails without a response. On one occasion they apologised and offered a refund on the postage, which they've never processed and haven't responded ever since.

Superb company and customer service and very friendly. I have just started detecting and my wife has tagged along with me. She has become hooked so we went along to find a light weight detector for her. What can I say we were met by Paul who gave us such great information and advice that we brought two. We will be using them again.

Absolutely fantastic service from the Joan Allen Team. Slight problem with my old metal detector so I sent it to them for repair. They very quickly found the problem (a loose wire), repaired it and returned it to me, beautifully packaged, within days. The communication throughout was super. Rang Joan Allen shop last week regarding info as to where i could find and purchase the bottom half of the Quest Q30 telescopic stem as mine had seized up as if someone had poured a ton of superglue down it from hardly any use. I was greeted politely and professionally over the phone with I can call you back in 5 mins and see if we have one out the back in our warehouse". Sure enough the nice young man over the phone had an ex-demo in stock and after setting all the details up for me his end with some humour and banter over the phone the whole transaction was done and dusted in as little as 10 mins. I followed his link and paid for the item mid-week and sure enough the item arrived that Friday same week in the afternoon via courier. The item is exactly as the seller described it to me over the phone if not better.PS....The quote and final price with free delivery he gave me over the phone was half maybe more than the half i thought i would have to pay. Late reviewPurchased equinox, 800+ accessories, I had made an agreement with a guaranteed trade-in price for manticore when they arrived.I called when they were in -stock to be told we can’t give you that price and you would be better trying eBay to sell yours.My 800 was new and still boxed, for the simple reason to get the best price for my trading in.I am a person /honest person and trust is very important, not to mention, empathy and professionalism,Hugely disappointed to come up against someone that is so dishonest.If they can be, the song is the boat that they can be dishonest about anything.
