I am deeply disappointed with the abysmal customer service I recently encountered at Selco Mitcham Road, specifically in relation to a failed delivery. This experience has left me frustrated and utterly dissatisfied with the way my issue was handled.I placed an order with Selco Mitcham Road, relying on their promised delivery service to ensure the timely arrival of my much-needed materials. However, my expectations were shattered when the delivery failed to arrive on the scheduled date. To exacerbate the situation, I received no communication or updates regarding the delay, leaving me in a state of uncertainty and inconvenience.When I attempted to contact the customer service department to inquire about the status of my delivery, I was met with a complete lack of responsiveness. Numerous phone calls went unanswered, and my emails were ignored. It felt as if my concerns were insignificant and unworthy of their attention. As a paying customer, this level of disregard is unacceptable and reflects a complete lack of professionalism.Furthermore, when I finally managed to speak with a representative, I was met with indifference and excuses rather than a genuine effort to resolve the issue. The representative seemed disinterested in my concerns and failed to provide any concrete solutions or alternatives. Their lack of accountability and failure to take responsibility for the failed delivery only served to heighten my frustration.The consequences of this failed delivery have been detrimental to my project, causing significant delays and added expenses. The fact that Selco Mitcham Road failed to uphold their end of the bargain and provide a satisfactory resolution is both disappointing and infuriating.In light of this experience, I strongly caution potential customers against relying on Selco Mitcham Road's delivery service. The lack of communication, poor responsiveness, and overall apathetic attitude toward customer concerns make it evident that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this establishment.I had previously considered Selco Mitcham Road a reliable option for my construction needs, but this experience has shattered my trust in their ability to provide adequate customer service. It is crucial for the management to address these issues promptly and implement measures to ensure that future customers do not have to endure such distressing encounters.Given the significant inconvenience and disregard for customer satisfaction displayed by Selco Mitcham Road, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this store. I sincerely hope that my feedback serves as a catalyst for improvement and encourages the management to prioritize customer service and communication in the future.

I have been coming to this particular Selco on Mitcham Road for more than 10 years, I have never been served by such a rude person as one guy today behind the desk. I was standing first in the line and he asked people behind me who was next and everyone pointed to me but he still looked blatantly away from me. I asked him how many years has it been I’m coming to this store and what made you think I would lie I only had a question. He without any shame answered that he doesn’t care and it’s his attitude about it.It’s been a while I have noticed new manager looking miserable and grumpy lot of old staff gone and remaining ones being dejected . It is a shame to see such a great and welcoming team gone and whole atmosphere is so gloomy

Had it not been for Selco, our renovation project would have run pretty smoothly. THREE times in the past two months we have had an issue with deliveries and it always takes a while to be rectified, which has wasted both time and money. We currently have multiple items completely missing from our most recent order and a driver claiming that it was successfully delivered when it has not been. If it wasn’t for our builder being accustomed to this store we would have never used it again. Unhelpful staff and completely unreliable delivery service

Delivery late. Half what we ordered with no notification of this.Waiting in all day for nothing. We hired equipment which is pointless now due to delays.Utterly useless. Dreadful communication.Travis Perkins or Putney Builders would have had it out to me next day. Know who we are using next time!

Very poor service. They forgot" my delivery... So I wasted a whole day waiting for materials...unable to work. Then they didn't call back when promised to sort it out. Eventually after many calls managed to arrange new delivery. And on the day the delivery hasn't come again and no one is answering the phone. This is appalling service. I've now lost several days work because of this."

Went Saturday morning wasn't to crowded.The shelf were full plenty of stock in the shop. Pretty clean a few staff present on shop floor if you need assistance. My only problem was there was only one person on the tills until someone complained as the queue was quite long.

30-40 immigrants standing outside the main entrance bothering people. My wife was scared to getnout of the car with the kids because of this. NEVER WILL VISIT THIS PLACE AGAIN

Overpriced compared to Screwfix and ToolstationMy car was hit in the car park and they failed to give me registration of vehicle as cameras are very poor, too risky!!

I’ve been going to selco for years. I’ve never had such great services in this time. Miles was an absolute brilliant, very helpful and very responsive. Show me exactly where all the materials I needed were. Thanks Miles
