Stunning array of Spitfire aircraft available for flights. For those who don't have deep pockets there is an opportunity to get close to the aircraft and watch them take off and land. The operation is driven by the weather and number of bookings so there is no guarantee of seeing the aircraft in action. However in good weather there are always aircraft movements and the chance to grab a meal in the Goodwood Airfield cafe.

Had a spitfire experience today with my eighty- one year old father in the cockpit. I must say,what an amazing experience for him. The pilot and ground crew volunteers were absolutely brilliant in making this an unforgettable memory not only for him, but for us too, watching from the ground. Unbelievably good experience down at Boultbee with my 30 minute Spitfire flight. I could not fault the operation of the day, from start to finish everything was so professionally organised and ran immaculately. The staff (Simon and Jim) were brilliant and so helpful. I cannot recommend this once in a lifetime experience enough!

Hugely fortunate to be given a flight in a Spitfire for my 50th birthday. Took the flight on 21/4/22 under beautiful blue skies. The whole thing from when I arrived to when I landed was superbly operated. Everyone was professional and friendly. My pilot Tim was a really nice chap and was very complimentary about my few minutes being in control of a Spitfire. Throw in the aerobatics that we rounded the sortie off with and it was without doubt the most unforgettable experience I think I will ever have.

Booked this simulator experience for my Husband’s Birthday. What a fabulous time he had. When we arrived we were warmly met and served with tea and coffee and made to feel very welcome.The flight itself was brilliant and our instructor was fabulous. What a nice guy!!! My husbands dream came true yesterday with the most amazing experience of his life, we had the most amazing family and friends picnic on a lovely sunny day whilst he was in the air,The whole crew are superb and although there were so many so us with Adrian Giles for his 70th birthday treat, we were all made so very welcome. Thanks a bunch guys,glad you enjoyed the cupcakes!

What an amazing experience. A boyhood dream coms true, how many of us have built the little plastic kit and dreamt of being sat in the cockpit and flying it.The reception , care and hospitality is excellent, a good pre flight briefing gives you the best opportunity to get the most out of your once in a lifetime experience. I went with my youngest daughter who took me, you wont be back on terra firma for ages once you land" how right she was. She was well looked after while I was in the air. These are definately a one-of-a-kind people.Thanks to the ground crew and Neil the pilot."

Great experience, Alastair was a great tutor, nothing was to much for him. Explained everything to me in every detail, no rush getting in & out of cockpit. When it was over Alastair took my partner & I into the Hanger & out onto the apron to see a Spitfire coming into land & to look at other Spitfires being worked on. Brilliant experience. Absolutely amazing day. Staff couldn't do more for us and for my mate that flew with them having come over from NZ.I flew last year and experience is out of this world. Definitely a spitfire smile day!

Both the simulator and the flight experience are brilliant - cannot recommend highly enough. The team are all so welcoming and ensure you have a great time.The simulator is an excellent experience in its own right or perfect for familiarising yourself with a Spitfire a week or so before a flight - Nige will look after you and ensure that you don't crash into a hedge!If you are fortunate enough to get to fly in a Spitfire for a special occasion or celebration, it's a lifetime experience like no other - a memory you will cherish and never forget.
