Clay Bank Huts

We stayed for a week in one of the camping pods, we found the pods and facilities to be excellent, extremely clean and of a high standard. Hosting was a perfect mix between a friendly chat and advice on where to go and what to visit. A lovely small site with stunning views, quality accommodation and good old fashioned hospitality. I would highly recommend a visit, you won’t regret it!!!

A lovely relaxing escape to the countryside. Richard and Joanne couldn't have done any more for us - really welcoming and tentative. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay in a camping pod. A delightful site. Perfect for the Cleveland Way. Richard and Joanne were so friendly and helpful. They were brilliant!

I stopped here for one night while doing the Coast to Coast Walk. The location was perfect (the site is a short walk down from Clay Bank Top), and the Roseberry shepherd's hut was fantastic - super cosy and exactly as it looked in the pictures. I would thoroughly recommend it to others doing the C2C or planning a longer stop in the area.

If you are walking The Cleveland Way then I would highly recommend this spot.They were gracious enough to accommodate me for camping at short notice and it wasn't far from the trail (downhill all the way).The hosts are a lovely couple who couldn't have been more accommodating and even gave me a lift back up the hill to continue on the trail in the morning.A beautiful spot with great hosts - highly recommend.
