Love it here, the trees are beautiful and there are lots of lovely paths off the main track to explore. Woodland and open meadow, a big lake, and a kids natural play area too. Great for a family walk with the dog

Very beautiful, entrance fee of £12.Recommended to come early in the morning. The staff took care of the place very well. There is a tea room in front. And there is a clean Toilet

A great day out most seasons of the year. May is best for the bluebells. Loads of places for a picnic, especially good on the other side of the lake, to the entrance. Recommend that none National Trust members book in advance. Expect to pay 30 pounds for a family with 3 kids. There is sufficient parking, dog friendly on a leed. There is a cafe too.

This is just walking up and down the hill around the woods and the lake with beautiful views, peaceful and a good place to picnic if weather allowed. Cafe was good, their service was excellent. The good news is it's on the way of huge improvement of cafe restaurant and they will open gift shop too probably. That's what we heard from staff. One of the helper said it's worth it to visit on different seasons as there are lots of Bluebells and Snowdrops in this place. Dog friendly. I would visit again. Ticket was £12 per adults.

Really lovely walk. We came a bit early for the full autumn colour - but even so, it was a delightful walk. The autumn light in the afternoon was glorious.

I went on a Sunday morning and got to walk around this lovely place and the view was fabulous with sunshine though the trees. The lake was still and got some good photos of the reflection from the trees of the bank side. It never disappoints the views you get there.

One of the best NT sites in the UK, especially during the Autumn and Spring when the whole place comes alive. Excited to see the new visitor centre taking shape - current tea room is great, but some indoor seating would be a perfect addition.

Always a lovely walk around Winkworth. Nice selection of snacks and drinks at the café. Singer of the paths may be a bit of a challenge for those less able, but these are signposted.

Beautiful area of woodland with a number of circular walks. We visited to see the bluebells and they were indeed beautiful and plentiful with lots of places for photographs. Some steep walks for those who wish to go down to the lake which could be challenging underfoot.A good selection of trees and bushes that flower throughout the year.Nice woodland play area for children and pleasant cafe with a selection of hot and cold food and drink with all profits going back into the Arboretum.A little pricey if you don't have NT membership (£30 for 2 adults and 1 child).
