The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts Colchester

This is an absolutely amazing place for young people. They have been responsible for my son's confidence and igniting his passion for performing arts. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone. A big thank you to Ali and of all the Colchester team!

My son has been attending PQA Colchester since the spring and has just finished his first big show with them, the Peter Panto. His confidence has improved massively, his enunciation is so much clearer and he always has the most incredible time on a Saturday.I couldn't recommend Ali and the whole team more. Every child learns so many important life skills as well practical skills that they wouldn't get elsewhere.My son always has a different answer for his favourite module because he enjoys each of them so much, but he says Ciaran is the funniest :)Thank you for bringing out the best parts of my son and for being such a lovely, welcoming academy.

This is a little gem. A wonderful environment for your child to develop life skills that come from the study of performing arts.The principal is an absolute gentleman and his team are some of the nicest people you could meet.The other students of all ages are a happy, helpful and supportive group.

My daughter has just completed summer school with PQA colchester and thoroughly enjoyed learning and performing a play in a week. She already attends each Saturday and her confidence has grown significantly since joining. She always speaks highly of Ali and the team and loves her lessons each week. This is an amazing drama academy, the staff do an amazing job, the shows they put on are fantastic. My daughter can’t wait for Saturday mornings to come. Easter school and Summer school, are just as amazing.
