We could not have asked for more of Jak when he catered our wedding in September 2018. He tailored a perfect menu based around food that we love and places we have been as a couple. Every guest was completely blown away by the food, as well as the excellent cocktails Jak’s barmen prepared, and many expressed interest in hiring Jak for their own events.The amount of care Jak put into everything was truly remarkable. It was not just that the food was delicious, but it was presented in a unique way with flourishes no-one else would have thought of. He made sure we were happy with everything he did and exceeded the incredibly high expectations we had by the time our wedding day came around. Jak’s whole team were brilliant and had a massive impact on how well our wedding day went.Jak was also phenomenal at achieving all this within our quite strict budget, for which we are incredibly grateful.We cannot recommend highly enough.Bella and Rory

We hired Jak to cater our wedding and couldn't have been happier with the service he provided. He tailored the menu to reflect our tastes but also to incorporate ingredients and flavours that reminded us of our travels. The menu he designed was fantastic; with a starter of scallops, a main of beef filet and a dessert of pineapple. The canapes for the drinks reception were a real highlight. The compressed watermelon is one of the best things we've ever eaten and we still think about it now. Jak and his team arrived at the venue and set up promptly. The wait staff in his team were all incredibly professional and personable. Without a doubt, Jak and his team helped make our day extra special. Thank you Jak!

Jak created a Mexican dinner for my husband and fathers milestone birthdays. We couldn’t have asked for better! Jak listened to what I was after and came up with the perfect menu. We weren’t the easiest customers as covid and a kitchen refurb threw some curve balls in but Jak was so accommodating and went even further to make sure we had the most fabulous celebration! The food on the day was absolutely amazing, it was delicious and was thoroughly enjoyed by all! I would highly recommend!

What can I say Jak, you were magnificent. The quality of the food was only matched by the service and help you provided us both as we prepared for the wedding.We had to rearrange the wedding three times and nothing was too much trouble for Jak in what was clearly a very tricky time.The menu that was created specifically for our day was incredible. In every single thank you letter received over the past few weeks, the food has not failed to be mentioned.We cannot thank you enough for your hard work and dedication to ensuring we had everything we wanted during the day and I wish you the best of luck going forward as you rebuild after the pandemic!

Just to say thanks sooo much to you and your fantastic team for the superb food you prepared for Matt & Simon's birthday celebrations this weekend. The street food especially was my favourite with so many different flavours and textures but your gourmet burgers with all the trimmings went down a treat too with our guests. As for Sunday breakfast - well that was another treat too with the delicious smoothies and filled breakfast baps. Without doubt we would recommend you to anyone! Well done RelaxedJaks!

One word to sum up our evening with Jak and his team: Fantabulous! The food, the service, the energy from the team were all perfect. It was a real pleasure to have them as part of our party! They arrived early, were perfectly prepared and then flexible with us throughout the evening. Gave Jak the autonomy to decide on the menu and have a bit of fun and it turned out to be a wise choice. Was a fairly eclectic mix of items (all cooked in different ways…oven, BBQ, pan, etc..) that all worked really well together. Party was 8 guests and everyone was blown away! Can’t wait to get you back Jak!

We hired Jak for my 30th birthday with 26 people and his food blew us away!! Three courses for 26 people is no easy feat but Jak and his team managed to pull off some delicious dishes and cater for all our dietary requirements! Cannot recommend Jak enoughP. S the pork belly was incredible

Jak provided the most delicious food for our wedding party of 120 guests. His creativity, care and execution were second to none. Nothing was too much trouble - and he was an absolute delight to work with. The canopes were a particular highlight and many of our guests said that this was the best wedding food that they had ever had. His staff were all polite and professional. Highly recommended and would not hesitate to work with again. Thank you so much Jak!

Jak is exceptional in all that he does. We had 10 people for a 40th birthday party dinner at our house. We are fortunate to have eaten at some of the finest restaurants, which Jak surpassed. Working with Jak’s excellent suggestions, our input on what we liked, allergies to avoid, Jak constructed a fantastic menu that was enjoyed by all. Preparation was thoroughly considered, great communication, and courteous throughout. Ran the evening smoothly, timing the serving of the 6 courses perfectly. All 10 of us couldn’t provide any feedback on where to improve, it was absolutely spot on. Thank you Jak, fantastic evening, we are grateful.
