Play time at the toy library is lovely, lots if interaction for babies and toddlers, nothing is too much for the staff. Fruit and biscuits for nibbles. A wonderful environment for little ones parents and carers. Our Grandaughter loves it great for pre school. Five stars for the staff.

Can’t praise the toy library enough! What they achieve for the littles is akin to magic. The Christmas Grotto this year was just brilliant. Thank you ♥️

This is one of the best places to take my toddler. Many people go 2 or 3 times a week. The play leader, Noreen, is so creative and makes all kinds of play activities along a theme. Song times, snack times and in and outdoor activities keep my little one busy non stop. Highly recommended.

Great place to take your toddlers for a morning play session. It's got an outdoor bit with playground, toy cars and play house and indoor bit with a multitude of rotating activities including library, sensory play, soft play, crafts, mini kitchen, messy play. It's open from 10-12 every day (except Sunday) and it's £2.50 per child. They do snack time at 11 which is great as gives everyone a bit of quiet time from the chaos! It gets busy so get there early as they have a limited capacity.

I took my little boy for the first time the other day, and all I can say is he loved it! From the play kitchen to the messy paint. Highly recommend, and I plan to return soon. Thought I would just add an FYI: when I took my son last (2 weeks ago) they did mention about changing the location so keep an eye out for any updates on that.

I used to come every weeks there 5 years ago with my daughter agathe and the little one I was looking after . It was every time a really great moment ! You can find every kind of toys and the people working there are so involved that it is really enjoyable ! I miss this place !

Lovely activity for babies and children. The session is free play followed by a snack and then songs together. Highly recommend!

If there is a place for you and your little one to enjoy the day, Toy Library ,it is.A warm place where children learn through play( to share toys with friends, learn nursery rhymes, allowing children to develop their social skills and to encourage their physical skills, also by playing a child can develop hand-eye coordination skills.Have a good time ;-))

My little daughter has been going to this wonderful place on average three times a week for the last 3.5 years and it’s her place of fun, sanctuary and joy. It’s where we as parents met other parents and where community develops. The sessions include circle and singing time, snack time as well as time for babies and toddlers to independently explore the toys, interact with each other and the lovely outdoor garden too.I’ve met adults in Walthamstow who have been to the toy library as kids… it has a special place in the community. The library can also be used for other valuable events - kids parties, special sessions - as well as initiatives for kids with special needs which are a lifeline for like minded families to feel less alone. The icing on the cake is that you can borrow toys for a nominal sum for a few weeks which means you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to buy huge amounts of plastic toys that kids lose interest in.It’s a great concept and a lovely place.
