I’ve been working as a Secondary English Tutor at The Tutor Trust for nearly a year and it has been such a rewarding role. As a student, the excellent pay and flexible hours were perfect for my hectic schedule during the final year of my university studies.The assignments offered to tutors are varied and accessible, and the staff have great communication and offer support on assignments and valuable feedback on lesson plans. There are also plentiful opportunities for career development, such as the Advanced Tutor Pathway, Brand Ambassador work and great links with TeachFirst. I can’t recommend working for The Tutor Trust enough to my course mates, friends and family.

I started working for The Tutor Trust over a year ago now, during my final year of my undergraduate degree. The company has been an absolute pleasure to work for, I have not one bad word to say about them!I've never once had a slight problem with them, throughout my whole time here. The team are absolutely fantastic and support you in everything. The schools we tutor for are also very kind and helpful.Best of all, the students are all lovely.

You do not need previous teaching or tutoring experience to work for The Tutor Trust, as the staff are absolutely fantastic and supportive, and there are many training courses made available to turn you into the best tutor you can be. Working for the Tutor Trust as a primary school tutor has been the best experience. Helping underprivileged children build their confidence in English and Maths is just brilliant to see, and great to be a part of. The Tutor Trust is flexible work and fits perfectly round university studies. As well as being great in school experience if you are hoping to become a teacher one day! I would recommend this job to anyone who is a hard worker, respectable, kind and has the urge to help young people.

The Tutor trust is an excellent place to work. I began working here as a student and was immediately impressed with the opportunities they had to offer. They provide excellent training for tutors and cover the costs of necessary checks such as DBS which showed the care they have for both their tutors and the students that they provide tutoring for. They constantly ensure that I am able to build excellent relationships with the schools I work for and have excellent communication with me throughout my work. They also do an excellent job of keeping all tutors connected and provide thorough resources and training throughout working there, whether you are a new or experienced tutor. Through working as a primary tutor with The Tutor Trust, I have gained many essential skills which will be vital for my future career. It has been very fulfilling to mentor students for the past three years, and the charity offer flexible hours that fit around university timetables and other commitments, so there has never been any stress with arranging my shifts. The Tutor Trust offer a really competitive rate of pay, with pay for planning added on also.Tutoring with The Tutor Trust has been a really big part of my university experience, and I have nothing but good things to say about the charity :)

Since becoming a Tutor with the company back in January 2022, and becoming a Brand Ambassador a month later, my journey with the company so far has been an incredible experience and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities!The motto of the organisation is to 'transform lives through tutoring', something which I am extremely passionate about as education is so important as can change a person's pathway on their journey through life. There are amazing incentives and opportunities for networking and meeting professionals in various industries! I first started working as a Secondary English Tutor for The Tutor Trust during my first year at university in 2017, and I had so much support from staff and fellow tutors – especially during my first few sessions. The opportunities we’re given as tutors to develop our skills, such as in-depth CPD sessions as well as additional training events, have proven extremely useful in gaining more confidence in my tuition. The staff are extremely attentive, and check in on us all regularly to see how assignments are going in our respective schools. I am hoping to go into teacher training at the end of this academic year, and I can safely say that The Tutor Trust have contributed massively in inspiring me to pursue teaching. I would highly recommend this job for anyone looking for a job that really makes a difference, and those who feel they would benefit from the in-depth and high-quality tuition this charity offers.

I have worked as a Tutor for over a year and I cannot sing the praises of this job enough. The Tutor Trusts' ethos and the magnitude of their impact is truly admirable. It's a job with instant reward - seeing the students' gain confidence academically and personally through the aid of your teaching is a beautiful feeling. It's rare for me to have found a part-time job that is so flexible and understanding of my other University commitments, but also one that pays so well! You really feel like a valued employee and the support from all the staff is wonderful!

I have been working as a tutor for one year at Tutor Trust and it has been the best place to work so far. Not only is it good pay but I love how flexible this job is so I can work around my studies and other commitments. The staff at Tutor Trust are lovely, they will always try their best to help you if you have a problem. They provide training and example resources which made me confident to start my new assignment.The technology is straight forward. Applying for assignments is a straightforward task. I love how simple it is to use. Your payment, applications to assignments and actual assignments are all in one portal, I love how transparent they are to their tutors.Staff will keep you up to date with what is happening within Tutor Trust and you are encouraged to get involved.
