It's o.k. a student bar. Drinks are reasonably priced. I've eaten food inside several times. I wish they had a better choice of food with slightly bigger portions. I would pay more. The pool table is £1 per game. And the table is probably the worst table I've played on. Staff are polite and service was quick.

Steph (Little) on bar is the epitome of good customer service. 10/10 makes us want to come back to Joe’s. Amazing at her job! Deserves a promotion!

Nice place at the heart of the campus, however the approach of staff towards customers is at least worrying. We have been thrown out of the restaurant for allegedly being rude to staff (it was a senior waitress that was actually rude and impolite to us) and not complying with the COVID rules (which was a lie as we sat outside in a group of 6). The main manager decided to throw us out of the restaurant without having any reason whatsoever, mercifully letting us finish our drinks. Very unprofessional and rude, not to mention that we did nothing wrong. I am definitely not visiting this place again.

A very middling experience - exactly as expected from a student bar. Redeemed by its reasonable prices (especially 2 for 1 pizza) and convenient campus location, I can definitely see myself frequenting Joe's, but not so much for quality.Wait times are fairly average, and the bar can get fairly loud at times.

The food hygiene is disgraceful rating of 2/3 is awful. Not to mention the food is raw, and goodness knows how these students cooking serve the food or even keep bar clean avoid

We enjoyed the food we ordered, it was brought to us quickly with all correct items (however, we did find it strange that we were not given any cutlery and had to go and find some).We were informed our croquettes were accidentally" cooked in something with gluten. While this wasn't a problem for us and ordered these as they only seemed to offer croquettes under the gluten free section

I really like the atmosphere. The food was wonderful. It was my first time that I tried Fish & Chips, and it was delicious.
