It was like walking into a American 1960s film set but set in the beautiful West Country. The homemade scotch eggs were to die for and the 8% blackberry ciders truly sent me west l.

Really loved this pub, the owners were incredibly friendly and the food was great. We had the homemade pizzas which were amazing. Great cider, and the locals were also really friendly.

It was so fantastic I don’t remember leaving - and wish I never left.Fantastic food (vegetarians catered for), the cider is amazing - very strong blackberry cider is my recommendation! And very dog friendly. Here is a picture of Lola at the bar ordering a treat.

Proper cider, good food, we ate the pizza. Great atmosphere helped along by live music..
