The Old Quay House
I loved the quay-view cottage!The room is small bit smart. The housekeeping is superb. The room was tidy every day.There are plenty of parking - just don't forget to register your car.It is easy to drive around from this location too.The quay changes every day with the tide.The restaurant is okay, the staff is friendly but the food just a 3.5 stars on a pub food scale. Overall I would still recommend this place.(The video was recorded from our cottage, yes, it is really on the water side.)

Stayed for 4 nights in the Samphire room right next to the estuary, beautiful view. Room was functional with everything needed. Breakfast is available next door at Birdies, a 2 minute walk. Ate in-house twice including Sunday carvery, both meals excellent with friendly and attentive staff. Very convenient for St Ives and St Michaels Mount. Enjoyed our stay.

Great food, they have tables for outdoor eating which was great, so our kids could play on the playground with us able to watch them from our table until the food arrived and then once they'd finished which added to our enjoyment of the experience, they were kept entertained whilst we relaxed after our meal.

We came down today for lunch on the off chance as we were popping down to Penzance. We were really glad we did. We had the sirloin steak and a chicken burger and it was beautiful. We also want to say how amazing the service was by every member of staff. We will definitely look forward to coming back.

The carvery is excellent. Definitely book to avoid disappointment as it does get busy. But worth it. There's also a children's play area outside. Also a Pleasant view over the estuary.

Only went in for drinks but this place has a great outside playground for children. Its situated right on Hayle estuary a good viewing point for bird watchers. Would definitely recommend a visit

Had an excellent Christmas Dinner here with our walking group. The service was excellent, the food well presented and delicious. Large car park and welcoming bar. We went again this year and it was as good if not better

The Old Quay House
We hired their upstairs function room for a family 90th birthday party. From the first email to the last glass of fizz, Trevor and his team were amazing. Every detail carefully considered. Lovely food, helpful smiling staff, great facilities and everywhere spotlessly clean made our party a truly memorable event. The Old Quay House is located just off the A30bypass at the end of the Hayle Estuary which is easy access with lots of parking. Would highly recommend. Thanks again Trevor, Margaret and team!
