Yo Spanish school

I have had Spanish tuition from Javier for a couple of years and it has helped improve my confidence and ability to communicate in Spanish on my visits to Spain and when we meet up with my daughters Spanish in-laws. Javier has always been encouraging and patient. I thoroughly recommend Yo Spanish.

I have been having lessons via zoom with Ana. The lessons are interactive and fun. Ana will tailor the session to what I want to work on. I have a busy work schedule and I find Yo Spanish school very accommodating to my timetable. I would recommend Yo Spanish school to anyone looking to improve their Spanish!

I recently completed a two week intensive course with Javier at YoSpanish after spending time learning in Spain and I cannot recommend the school enough. Lessons are taught in a comfortable classroom with the owner of the business who is very adaptable to shaping the daily course content to the learners needs. Maybe you have specific requirements e,g, business Spanish, a DELE exam or you simply wish to continue at your level following the European framework; Javier has the ability to assist!I am a language teacher and was impressed with Javier's ability to balance the 4 key skills of reading, speaking, listening and writing during his lessons; this is crucial as, for example, it is one thing being able to communicate with your personal teacher but another being able to understand other natives and accents.I think they key thing to communicate here is the flexibility of this business to suit the customers need and prices are more than competitive for the industry. I shall be returning next week to start an 8 week intermediate course and urge others to do the same if they wish to start Spanish from the beginning or continue at their current level.

For over 10 years we've been going to Spain on holiday and picked up a bit of language from phrasebooks, but never enough to have a conversation. We did try going to a GCSE class a long time ago but we found we were not enjoying it and with busy lives it didn't feel worth it. A few years ago we saw an advert for yospanish and thought we'd try a few lessons and see how it went. Javier was interested from the start in what it was we wanted to learn and what worked for us. The lessons were a delight and we've always looked forward to them. Even when we've had a very busy week and not been able to do much work, the lessons have been interesting and useful. Many times going into a lesson tired from work, and with work worries on our minds, we've actually ended up feeling both more energised and more relaxed at the end of the session! Speaking for myself, I will happily recommend Javier to friends or to the wider public.

Fantastic experience with both Ana and Javier. I took lessons online via Zoom for around 2 years and I've only stopped as I'm going back to university to do a masters. Once I've finished my masters I fully expect I'll be resuming my lessons in an attempt to attain greater fluency. Javier is a very good teacher - makes students relaxed, which makes learning easier and more fun. His sense of humour helps a lot as well. I would definitely recommend this language school.

I had 10x 1-to-1 online lessons with Ana, who was a fantastic teacher! She organised a lot of extra resources for me to practise in-between lessons and tailored the content to suit my needs (e.g. useful language for travelling). 1-to1 is great because you have chances to ask lots of questions - I would highly recommend Yo Spanish (and Ana)!!

Fun, friendly and professional! Sara is a fantastic teacher who tailors every lesson to our needs! Our kids (6 and 9) love her lessons and so do we. Can’t recommend enough!!!

It has been a pleasure to learn Spanish at Yo Spanish! I enjoy Javier's teaching style and the relaxed atmosphere in the classroom. Every week, I feel as though I am improving and I am keen to continue working with Yo Spanish. I would highly recommend this language school.

Javier's classes are really comfortable and social, making it easier to exchange Spanish. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wishes to improve. We used books as a guideline for the class but Javier also introduced different activities to keep classes interesting.I felt welcome from day 1 which made it alot easier for me to pick up the language and use it with the other students. The classes are smaller so you feel as if you have enough time each lesson to ask questions and build up your understanding.
