Brilliant garage. Top class service always, VERY quick, very honest and they go out their way to help even if they are really busy. Most importantly they don't treat you like a mug like a lot of other garages do.Reception are friendly every single time, the mechanics all have a brilliant attitude also. Massive change to what I'm used to with garages and I wouldn't go elsewhere now!

I bought a VW Golf yesterday from J Aitchison (Duns) and had a stress-free service from Jordan. He even arranged delivery to my house and completed the handover - a simple gesture but helped me out no end.My search for a local car took me to Newcastle initially, to Gosforth. I test drove a couple of different cars but came away quite quickly with the impression that the 2nd had car market had changed since the shortage of semi-conductors had impacted new car sales!I saw the Golf online via Auto Trader and called up for more info. As mentioned, Jordan arranged for me to view the car and first impressions were very good. It was prepped for my visit and was clean and tidy, the test drive was simply that - take the keys and have a nice time! To be fair, the car sold itself and on return, we agreed the details and Jordan arranged for a full service, mot and new front brakes - we opted for a warranty too.All told, I’d recommend J Aitchison car sales without hesitation for the standard of their cars but also Jordan for making the process so easy.

I took delivery of a Passat from this garage today, 16 October. I live in Somerset, so quite a distance away. I was a bit dubious about the transaction at first, because of the distance. But after speaking with Andrew, and receiving assurances and photos of the car, I felt confident, and ordered it.Andrew was completely transparent throughout the preparation process and regularly kept me updated, including photos.The car was delivered by Rob, contracted by STS Vehicle Movements Ltd. It arrived on time, an excellent service.The car was exactly as described and matched the photographs.I thoroughly recommend this dealership. Thank you Andrew, for a smooth and honest transaction.

This is a family run business for three generations and so have worked hard to obtain and keep a good local reputation. Great sales department offering a very fair deal - part exchanged my car and found them very friendly and helpful - nothing too much trouble and the salesman, Jordan, helped me to make my decision to buy a 'no brainer' - best experience ever in getting a new(er) car. VERY Covid aware garage allowing a safe test drive. My excellent local service garage which I have used since moving up here highly recommended Aitchisons - now I know why. 5* !!

Self pay fuel service seems to round up to upper pound. Pump was showing £10.17 but my bank statement shows £11. Be careful!

The Service Department is friendly and always does a good job in keeping my car running well and safely. Provision of a courtesy car is also a boon when my car is being serviced or repaired or having an MOT.

Had my audi in here for a spring replacement the other week. Really great service and really great job done. Reasonably priced to. Will 100%use again. Would give more than 5 stars if I could :)
