Nice big function room good bar and nice easy go atmosphere efficient bar staff definitely use again

Beer was flat, bar staff wasnt very cheerful. Dont plan on visiting again

We recently had our wedding reception here. Elizabeth, the hall manager, was amazing with helping us plan everything and gave us great ideas for how to do things. On the day all the staff were brilliant and made the day go so well. We couldn't have been happier with everything.

A reasonable local hall available for hire for events. They have a bar, a smaller room and a larger hall. The bar stocks the usual range of alcoholic drinks but is fairly expensive and doesn't stock anything more than the basics.

The room size was perfect but when we arrived there was still food on the floor from a previous event.sadly wouldn't be having anymore parties here

Well what can I say I'm gonna be truly honest after months of planning and saving and really excited about renewing my wedding vows I booked this venue well in advance I paid the guy who works here everything up front my room hire my food table decorations I paid extra to have the room earlier I turned up on the night too the ceiling leaking in the room where my buffet was being prepared and the men's toilets which couldn't be helped the Weather was bad the staff sorted this out the time came to have my buffet which I paid £900 for for 90 people a hot and cold buffet I was extremely shocked when I saw it there was hardly any food there was beef chips that was the hot buffet then there was sandwiches wraps pork pies sausage rolls tiny chicken skewers and some crisp maybe enough to feed 35 people I was extremely disappointed and furious after the price I paid the staff well what what can I say they was so miserable didn't even crack a smile they made me feel very uncomfortable all my guests most of the left early around 9pm starving with there children they totally ruined my evening I left myself at 930pm very upset and disappointed if your thinking of having a event here please get your own catering or you will be hungryYour reply is a lie 90 people didn't show due to the bad weather I'd say at least 60 people were there and only 35 had eaten there wasn't enough to go back as the food was very limited my son who is type 1 diabetic went back for more as his blood sugars had dropped to the lack of food supplied he asked if there was more to be told no and he even told you it's a joke as we paid £900 and there was hardly anything there

We attended a wske here and the food was excellent. Service also very good.

I organised my Grandsons' christensing reception here and I am so glad I did.The venue was perfect. We had 90 adults and children turn up and everyone throughly enjoyed themselves.What made the day was the way Donna arranged everything for us. From the room to the buffet. I made mistakes along the way and she was amazing. She walked me through the event every step of the way and I can say on behalf of all the 90 guests the food was A1 - Absolutely PERFECT.I will not hesitate to have another function there.Thank you Donna and staff.
