Peterborough Cathedral Square

Visited with a group and had a tour of the cathedral, based on the connection of women to the cathedral . Very interesting. The cathedral spans many centuries and doesn't charge to enter. Definitely worth visiting. Only a 15 min walk from the railway station.

Liked the open space as well as the various information boards provided giving the history and purpose of the area.

Beautiful and tranquil , this amazing Cathedral stands tall amongst our busy everyday city life

Brilliant, spent most of day there. Very friendly and helpful greeting by volunteers on arrival, inspired us to do ground floor tour and what they called tower tour" but was over 2 hours into different roof areas and gradually up to stand next to flagpole for spectacular views. Down along gutter (safer than sounds). Well paced with level sections between each steep climb."

Amazing stone work!!!!! Cathedral and square stone so clean, looks better than Salisbury or Winchester

Beautiful, I went to a Christmas Carol concert here... it was amazing.

The Cathedral is free to explore (donations are welcome as its not funded by the government). The shop with souvenirs is inside on the left, beautiful things I found wish I took a picture. Lights up in the evening outside. Theres a lot of shops in the square to explore and have a coffee.
