Really good service from these people. Great reception, thorough, friendly, helpful and informative examination, good choice of frames and even sourced some sports frames for me as well. Thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely amazing service, would definitely recommend. First time going here, I have been approached in the most loveliest manner and was well looked after throughout the start of my journey. They were honest and well informative of the options I have and are certainly not money grabbers like the other places I have been to. If you are looking to change or want a friendly service then oakes are the optician's for you. You wouldn't be disappointed. Looking forward to the future with them! :)

I recently had a lovely experience at Oakes opticians. After damaging my glasses in a fall I had a very friendly but professional eye examination ( a little earlier than it was due but at their suggestion so I didn’t purchase new ones as my prescription could change) and helpful advice in choosing a new pair of glasses. All the staff were so kind and accommodating and my new glasses were ready in a just a few days. Communication was very good . I would highly recommend this opticians . I love my new glasses. Thank you.

I had a wonderful experience at Oakes Opticians. The staff are very friendly and professional. My eye test was both the most thorough and the pleasantest that I have ever experienced. A wide range of frames is available. My new glasses are more comfortable and work better than any that I have had from other opticians.

Best place I've been. Susan was amazing, so helpful and had all the time in the world for me. I have some health issues and Susan made me feel at ease and comfortable. I'd even pop in to say hello to her now.. lol she's lovely

Im not one for reviews but this place is very good the service from start to finish was superb i couldnt fault them from the optician to the lovely lady who dealt with me i was definatly made to feel welcomed and would 100 percent recommend them. And like is i said im not one for reviews but this place impressed me so much.
