Nationwide eBikes

They are very good at selling you a bike but if you have problems with it they are useless.I was told by the manufacturer of my bike to take my battery to this shop to have it tested. When we arrived the mechanic said he didn't know how to test them.In response to your reply (which I've only just found) I'd like to add that your mechanic did no tests on my battery other than trying it on another bike.No measurements were taken and there was no mention of returning it to the manufacturer.Also my battery didn't and still doesn't rattle.

I logged on to find post code for my trip to Taunton tomorrow and saw the review page. I am amazed that any one could give this company a bad name, as one reviewer did.Two years ago I bought my GepidaReptilla from a firm in Bristol. Service was acceptable.In June last year, when cycling Lejog on my own, I had a problem with my bike, and destiny had it that it happened near to Taunton. With out the support of Karen and Darryl, who pulled all the stops to get me on my way again, my trip would have been over.A few months later my husband also bought an electric bike from them.I will be collecting the latest model from the firm tomorrow.I live 15 miles from Chepstow so it is a good hour plus to travel to Taunton for bike services etc, but I cannot think about going to a nearer supplier. I am so impressed with the professional service I have received from Nationwide. There has never been a question which I have asked that has not been fully answered. When testing my proposed new bike Karen accompanied me on another bike so as I could ride both of them. I seemed to be ages making a decision, but was never under any pressure, and all my doubts and questions about the new models were dealt with with understanding and knowledge of the products.This year my husband and I cycled through France. We are not knowledgeable about bikes, and in our 70’s.We phoned to ask some questions before we set off. Nothing was any trouble, and we would have been happy that we would have had the same support had we called from France.I can recommend this firm 100%.......if not why would I make a round trip of 180 miles to buy and have our bikes serviced by them?

In March 2016 I purchased a Haibike from Nationwide e-Bikes in Taunton. The shop had a wide range of cycles. It was useful having expert 1 to 1 assistance to make the right choice of cycle for me. I had the opportunity to have a test ride on as many cycles as I wished. Having settled on my choice, the cycle was ordered and arrived within a week. Excellent service. Thank you Nationwide.

Jordan is a very helpful and knowledgeable young man and I'm very pleased with the service. I bought a Victoria bike and they'll check it over after 6-8 weeks plus do the first year service, free of charge. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants an ebike.

Staff are very knowledgable and helpful, making sure you buy the right bike for your needs with no sales pressure.If you want an ebike definitely give these guys a try, I am very happy with the bike I bought and the after sales service they provide.

I bought 2 X F4W bikes from Nationwide 2 years ago, my wife and I are very pleased with them. The after sales service received has been fantastic as well. Would recommend Nationwide to anyone.

We were struggling to find E-bikes in stock anywhere, but came across Nationwide in Taunton who aren't too far from us. Excellent, knowledgeable advice, tried out the bikes near the shop and they were delivered within a week. Had a small problem with the saddle height, but a replacement post was sent out free of charge. Very happy. Would recommend.

There just isn't enough stars.It is no understatement to say that a chance visit changed my life, I can't thank Karen and her husband enough for making my 5-year dream come true.I was a keen mountain biker until I damaged my spine, long story short I was fairly immobile, surgery got me moving but it was a long road - my dream was to get back on my bike and cycle Haldon Forest. I tried several times on my trusty Whyte but I just didn't have the strength to complete even the blue route :0(People suggested an ebike and I resisted (very strongly - I saw it as cheating, a weakness) BUT i was so wrong!I called in on my way home from a shopping trip and had the pleasure of meeting Karen and her husband, Karen kindly loaned me her bike for a test ride.......it took about 10-minutes for that bike to change my life.Needless to say I purchased the Conway Xyron and obviously went straight to Haldon Forest - the smile has not left my face for over a month.Don't think for one minute the ebike does it for you, if you want a twist and go buy a moped. You can have as much or as little help as you choose, I sometimes turn it off as I go up hill because I still want the burn, I still want to build muscle and get my heart pumping but most of all I want to enjoy the ride.I love my bike and can't thank Paul and Karen enough - thank you

Enquired about a Victoria e trekking 7.8 with belt drive. They had one in a box if my husband wanted to try. Arranged to visit and nothing was too much trouble. He was able to take it for a test ride up a steep hill. Needless to say we bought the bike and have been on a 24 mile ride and the majority of the miles were up hill and the bike performed brilliantly. Thank you so much for your time. Would definitely recommend.
