Highly recommend. We had difficulty in designing our loft conversion to not lose a room on the floor below for the stairs. Martin did a number of different designs to find a solution. He made a number of visits to ensure we achieved what we wanted while adding his professional advice. He made the planning process very easy for us. Friendly, professional and a really nice guy.

I was very pleased with Martin Ballard's design of my new extension, providing me with a fabulous new kitchen, dining room and study. I am really pleased as to how it has turned out, and better than I imagined.I was delighted with the work both Chris and Dave did in building and converting everything. Nothing was too much trouble for them, their attention to detail making sure everything was right and their thoughtfulness as to how things could be altered to enhance the project even more. There workmanship has been to a really high standard with other trades commenting upon it positively and as importantly they turned up when they said they would and stayed until the job was finished. I never felt I was going to be left with the work half finished. So thank you to you and the boys for doing such a great job.I have already recommended Martin and his two builders: Chris and Dave to a friend, and will continue to do so.

Martin drew up the detail plans for my loft conversion/extension. Very good communication & visited multiple times. He had some great suggestions and I ended up with a much better design than was previous expected. Highly recommended

Martin undertook all the drawings for our extension making all the necessary submissions to the council and building control on our behalf. He took time to understand our needs and was very flexible. His work was of a high quality and reasonably priced. We were very pleased with the results.

Martin did an excellent job in completing the plans for our front and back extension and submitting the application. There was a number of changes required during the approval process and Martin was always on hand to make the changes. The extension application got approved.Martin is very thorough and always on hand to help throughout the application process.

Martin did the plans for our side extension to house a downstairs shower room and office at the start of the year and was fantastic. After telling him what we wanted to he was quick to make alternative suggestions as about how we could achieve this and make the best use of the space. He was approachable and always willing to answer questions and happy to amend the drawings until. He made sure that we were completely happy with final design before submitting the drawings for planning permission.Although we didn't end up using his services for the build itself I highly recommend Martin Ballard.

The price was very reasonable and the finished loft conversion has gone beyond our expectations. Martin prepared the drawings and application for a loft extension for us. He has been very professional and collaborative in both taking on our suggestions but also making multiple improvements including finding a solution to avoid having an additional post support required in the kitchen. Due to complexity he had to make several additional visits to make sure everything was just right. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Great service and quick turn around times. Martin was responsive through out the the design process and helped us with numerous redesigns to get to the final plan. Very experienced working with the council which has meant a smooth and quick approval process.
