Mini Bilinguals

My daughter and I really enjoyed this class. Gemma communicates very well with the children. I really like the fact that everything she says is in french which encourages the children to speak in french. Excellent song choices which incorporates movements to help the child to concentrate and follow the movements. I highly recommend this class!

We were looking for some more Spanish exposure for our little girl and were delighted with Gemma's classes, packed with Spanish, songs and lots of creative extras. We went from when our baby was 8 months until she was just over a year old, in person then virtually during the pandemic. Our little girl LOVES Gemma. The venue, when it reopens, is lovely and the online version also worked pretty well. Classes were good value. Highly recommended!

Gemma is a wonderful teacher - it’s clear she puts so much thought and preparation into the lessons to make sure they are both fun and engaging for the children. My daughter loves her weekly French lesson and her confidence is growing. Highly recommend!

Amazing class, Gemma keeps the whole class engaged which isn't easy and always has a new theme each week. We love all the songs and feel very lucky to have discovered the class online.

These are the best baby classes we have been to! The online format works really well and we look forward to joining Gemma every week. They have been a lifeline during the lockdowns of 2020! I feel that my French vocabulary has improved greatly too and my baby recognises many songs in both English and French now. Gemma has a beautiful singing voice so it’s a real pleasure to join her and go on a little adventure on a Thursday morning!

These classes are fun, educational and full of whimsy! Gemma has a really wide variety of songs with cute props and she puts the lyrics behind her so you can read while you sing and learn using different methods. Her classes are full of positive energy and I promise you will get the songs stuck in your head for the rest of the week! :)

We are so glad we came across Mini Bilinguals, we love the online French classes. Gemma is so engaging and makes learning fun. Each week there is a new and exciting theme introducing different words and subjects, whilst also using material that is carried throughout the sessions to build on what our son remembers from previous classes. The sessions are high energy and interactive, Gemma often talks to the children directly and sings their favourites songs. Our son loves anything with wheels so 'roues sur le bus' is a firm favourite in our house :-)What's great is that the classes are in French from start to finish without being daunting - I am learning but am easily able to join in with the fun (and I find the sessions useful for my French too :-)). Before starting, I was concerned that we might have to miss a few with other weekend commitments but if we do, Gemma kindly sends us the material which we do in our own time.These classes are great, Gemma has a real gift :-) I can not recommend Mini bilingual French classes highly enough for mini linguals wanting to be bi/multilingual! :-P

Gem is the most amazing French teacher my 6 year old adores French and can’t wait for the lesson each week. It’s interactive, fun and just what learning should be!

Great fun for all the family with Gemma’s Saturday morning online classes. Gemma takes us through a large repertoire of familiar English songs and nursery rhymes translated into French, animated with hand signs and a variety of colourful hats and props. Then our son is singing the songs for the rest of the week reinforcing his knowledge.

Having a pandemic baby means I’ve experienced a whole variety of online classes, but Mini Bilinguals is just an absolutely fantastic experience.Gemma really engages with everyone - letting parents know well in advance what props would be good for the class (all things your child will tend to have!), finding out your children’s favourite songs, and then really interacting with the children during the class, so it doesn’t at all feel like just watching a video.My son is only 8 months old so for the moment he is enjoying the sights and getting a feel for the sounds of the language in such a musical class (and I’m enjoying reminding myself of some French!) but I believe we will be going to Mini Bilinguals for years to come, as it’s clear how much the older children love the class too, and they get to soak up even more of the language.Can’t recommend this class enough, and have raved about it to friends and family alike.
