The Garment Studio
I brought a dress I loved that was probably about three sizes too small to Joanna, and she made custom alterations to make it fit beautifully. She had to get quite creative as there wasn’t any additional fabric to work with, so she designed and sewed in a stunning corset back with a few other alterations. It’s now even more beautiful than it was when I brought it in. Really appreciated Joanna’s friendliness and sharing of her expertise. Will absolutely come to her again!

I had my wedding dress by Wed2Be altered at The Garment Studio. Joana was absolutely lovely and did my dress beautifully, she even used some of the lace that had been cut off to add to the dress which looked amazing. The length was absolutely perfect.Thank you so much, will definitely use you guys again if needed and will recommend to everyone :)

Joanna has a vast wealth of knowledge and gave me advice on some garments during my consultation. I then got my skirt altered so the waist band was lower and it looks perfect - you wouldn't even know it had been altered! Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to come with any queries. Joanna is kind and very accommodating and will definitely be back when I need something altered or tailored.

Joanna magic hands! I bought my wedding dress in a sample sale, it was 3 sizes too big for me. I took the dress to Joanna she worked her magic on that dress in every single way. She took the dress apart and started it again from scratch… she tailored the dress on me, bought a new mash (super comfy), and then reassembled every thing. She readjusted everything as i wanted: she lowered the back and the front, and added the hocks on the tail to make the dress easy to walk in during the day.I’ve no words to thank Joanna enough of what she did with that amazing dress..Amazing job and I highly recommend her to everyone ❤️

Hands down the best service I've had with alterations. put my trust in Joana with my vintage stone island jumper, which I wanted taken up in length, and some custom patches stitched onto some trousers. Both were done with the highest detail and attention. would highly recommend :)

I am so pleased I found Joana and The Garment Studio. I had some trousers and a vintage top altered for a wedding. They were done beautifully and Joana is lovely!! She also very kindly did it really quickly for me, and at a very reasonable price. Perfect!! Highly reccomend and will go back to Joana for any alterations and tailoring I need from now on.
