Chatams dry cleaners

What a great dry cleaner! I cannot recommend Chatams more. I brought my wedding dress in which had makeup and mud on it… plus I needed it cleaned and ready to go for a reception a week later.The guy who runs it was honest and helpful. He said he wasn’t sure if he could get the stains out, especially in such short notice. I understood and asked that he just do what he could.Lo and behold my dress was ready a week later without a stain to behold! I really appreciated how they set my expectations but then exceeded them.If it’s helpful my dress was mostly polyester with just two layers (a slip and the dress itself). There was no beading etc. If you have a big ball gown of a dress I would expect you’d be charged much more and the turnaround would be longer. However I’m sure the outcome and quality of work would be the same.

Andy did an amazing job cleaning my camel cashmere coat, which I was worried the stains were beyond the point of no return (it's as if they were never there in the first place) - he was really friendly and very reasonably priced. Thank you!

I always take my dry cleaning here as it's excellent personal service and great value. He's got stains out of my suit that I didn't think would come off. He is dedicated to getting the stains out for you, even if it takes him several washes. Thank you!

Dropped my 3 piece 100% wool coat with stains on it at 3pm on a Thursday and Andy had it ready by 1pm on Friday looking great. Did me a huge favour as I had a wedding the next day! Really recommend.

Having never been to a dry cleaners we needed a suit dry cleaned at the last minute so I chose Chatams with it being an independent. I took in the suit Tuesday lunch time, and they got it ready for me for Wednesday afternoon (understandable paying a surcharge of £10 to jump the queue and have this done so quickly.) The suit was VERY creased after being at the bottom of all our stuff during a move so a big thank you for getting it looking good so quickly!

Andy at Chatam’s is great! He did an excellent job on several items of clothing, including my wedding dress which had been sitting in a closet for almost 4 years and was starting to yellow in places. Andy wasn’t sure the how well the stains would come out but said he’d try his best. It came up beautifully! And was very reasonably priced.Would highly recommend taking your dry cleaning here.
