Church View Surgery
A complete lack of care for their patients.No response to e-consults despite pleading for help with mental health issues and sending numerous reminders to respond. They only accept urgent telephone calls and don’t class my issues as ‘urgent’ so I’m never able to speak to a doctor. The doctors never ring back, promise call backs after a certain date and never call back.Such poor service, and lack of care

Used to be great, service these days is appalling. i have waited 2 weeks for a telephone consultation and I am not surprised that it hasn't materialised . Cant get through by phone, told to do online consults which are then invariably closed off due to volume. I don't know who they are busy seeing because no one i know can get in

Nightmare to get through on the phones. Very long winded online forms to fill out which aren’t appropriate in some cases. Constant battle to get repeat prescriptions. Friendly staff if you can get to speak to them. Too many barriers to get access to help.

Completed anima request in August and was told that an action plan had been put in place. A phone call from a doctor a later a physiotherapist was detailed. Neither was forthcoming.

I have been with church view surgery for 26 years, never did I have a problem with seeing a doctor until covid to which I understand.But now unfortunately we still can't see a doctor I call yesterday at 8am there was 12 calls in front of myself I got told by the receptionist I would get a call back which didn't happen until 6 hours later lucky my problem wasn't life threatening.But still only got a phone call,no face to face and no appointment just a diagnosis over the phone.Though the doctor i spoken to was very nice and professional which is the reason you get a 4.

I have just registered at this surgery after moving house and I'm currently looking for a new surgery. Nothing but problems. Can't even get an appointment for a new born baby with an angry rash(apparently all appointments gone, and not just the emergency ones!). Told to email in which I feel is shocking for a new born! Lost prescriptions/or not sent. They now have a policy where new prescriptions need to be put in writing and posted to them as they can no longer deal with them over the phone. Not sure how that benefits anyone! The doctors I have spoken to/met do seem lovely but the policy's and the organisation is terrible at church view.

Excellent the team at the surgery have been outstanding.This year has been very challenging for me the team at the surgery have been there every step of the way . Face to face appointments at short notice, phone calls to see how I,m getting on. The paramedics and nurses are absolutely tremendous so supportive.I can't thank the team at churchview enough for all their help and support!!

Unfortunately you have to give 1 star to make a comment. This surgery is undoubtedly the worse I've ever had dealings with. Example, phone up to make an appointment - two minutes past 8 number 1 in the phone queue. 20 minutes later phone answered and no appointments left. How can that be? Then order a prescription and am told by reception to put note on it asking ro speak to doctor about the medication. Receive a phone call ( no not from a doctor of course) bit reception telling me I shouldn't have done that and to ring back in the morning. Absolute zero care for patients.
