Travelodge Weston-super-Mare

Room was ok for the money, bed was comfortable and had decent shower with nice fresh towels. Young lad on reception was pleasant. Now for the bad stuff. Air con didn't work ( little padlock displayed on thermostat ) so was hot at night and nobody on reception when I went down. Sink plug stuck shut as we were getting ready to leave. Window locks were loose and broken. Bath Matt was basically cut rubber. Breakfast was awful and the older lady with short hair was rude when asked about a breakfast item. Pub opposite was noisy ( but that isn't the hotels fault just annoying ) this hotel could do with those slow close doors as well, as constantly hearing some inconsiderate Muppet letting their door slam every five minutes was irritating. Won't be staying here again.

Really nice staff that didn't mind helping out no matter the time. We arrived slightly early and the manager let us into our room without charging us extra as the room was already empty.She also made sure we were on the ground floor as we had a dog and a baby so was very understanding and to be honest this is the first time that a manager has helped out this much at a travel lodge! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you

The hotel itself was fine and the staff were friendly and helpful but the company has no compassion. We specifically booked Travelodge as they allow dogs. Our dog died on the day we were due to go but as we had booked a saver option they wouldn't give us a refund. I do understand that it is company policy but sometimes these things happen and you would hope common decency would prevail.

Absolutely disgusted with the rooms and service. On arrival, we went into the cafe part for a drink. The staff said they were cashing up ( 11:20am), and they said they wouldn't be long to serve us. We had paid for early check-in at 12pm. and guess what they never came back to serve us, so once we arrived in our room, we made our own.The air conditioning was not working and the room was really warm. I went to the desk and they offered to move us the next day and that they would give us a refund for that night.Next day, new staff, so you can probably already assume it went wrong. I was told the whole floor wasn't working, so not sure why we were offered to be moved and they've had problems for a while.We went out for the day at 9:30am and left the sign to ask for our room to be replenished but when we arrived back at 2:30pm nothing had been done there was a trolley out in the corridor so thought they wouldn't be long and after an hour the trolley had gone so I took everything to reception and replenished it all myself!Every surface of the room had a thick layer of dust, so it was just disgusting! And as we left more new staff so had no clue about the refund for the first night.

Stayed for two nights. Excellent location, with easy access from the M5 and short journey to the beach. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking. We’ll definitely stay again.

Great travelodge. Good location just off the motorway which made it ideal for a 1 night stop over on our road trip. Staff were great and very helpful. We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids but we had a 3rd child who is happy to sleep in a table cot so they said we didn't have to pay for this person and had a cot ready in the room for when we arrived. Very helpful as we had been in the car for a while before we arrived. Rooms were plenty big enough for all 5 of us. Good restaurant next door which was good value and great food with a kids play area outside and very friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty of choice though the seating area was not very big so would recommend getting down early for a seat. Also said for every adult breakfast you get up to 2 kids free so we only paid for 2 in total and we had our fill before hitting the road.

On arrival we were informed that the accesable room was on the second floor, which was unacceptable so we then had a room on the ground floor with no television service and we moved to room no 8. We had a complimentary breakfast,but it wasn't very good. I would be amazed if they don't lose business over the new policy of accesable rooms being allocated on upper levels

everything was really nice and clean, room size was good and comfortable. all staff were polite and understanding. Only down side was the lack of dietary needs for different cultures and backgrounds! But would stay again!

Great room, really friendly and helpful staff. There's a bar with a good selection of drinks and the buffet breakfast was excellent. Will definitely be staying here again when travelling to the south west. Dog friendly too.

Location is about 10 mins out of Weston Central but as we were driving it didn't inconvenience us. Check in/out was fast (we arrived quite late & left very early). Breakfast was plentiful & all staff were. We had the family room, 1 double & 2 single & the price was brilliant.Thank you
