Really enjoyable experience at the tea blending workshop.Sav and Cameron were really friendly and super knowledgeable. They made the experience really worthwhile and brought great energy despite it only being two of us there due to absence. It was a really personable, entertaining, and informative evening and I would not hesitate to go again! Only slight issue was how often I needed to use the bathroom after drinking copious amounts of tea - worth it

Jade took us through samples that suit our palate and customised mixology suggestions!Definitely recommend for any tea lover (like me) or tea cynic (like my husband!). We especially appreciated the diligence and patience in explaining all the fun tea paraphernalia (the Brewdini and the cold-brew tea maker).The Coconut Oolong and the sticky tea selections are an absolute must try. The fruity teas are a lovely and refreshing option (hot or cold). And of course the shop special blend: The Oxford Comma.Jade (and her Team) get five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Went in to look at some matcha - the staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. Got a free drink for signing up to their mailing list which was nice!Bought 2 small pouches of teas - excited to try them, I smelt something sweet when I was browsing but didn't know what I was smelling. Eventually found the one that I was smelling from across the room, it smells so good! Hopefully it tastes as good too!Update: My favourite new tea shop! I do like T2 as well, however B&B had a much more welcoming vibe and I can buy a selection of amount in different sized pouches.We went for a tea blending workshop with Alice which was fun! It was someone going through lots of different teas, lots of information about the teas and trying them in between. Personally I would have preferred a more interactive workshop, not sure how you would do it but personally I find it doesn't hold my attention as well if the workshop is mainly someone giving a speech. However that's not something against the presenter but more just the format of the workshop. Also probably didn't help that there were quite a few people in the workshop, and the fact that the store has no toilets even though it's a café?You could order as many cocktail/mocktails as you wanted, and make 3 blends of teas at the end of the workshop. And also have a 10% discount to anything you want to buy from the shop at the end.Overall I would recommend the tea blending workshop but would prefer more interactivity.

This was a truly exceptional experience. I’d previously heard that Bird & Blend was a good shop, but we were blown away by the customer service and expertise.When we went in, we were greeted by a friendly assistant who brewed some sticky chai tea, along with a cold brew tea. He spoke to us at length about the different teas on offer, and the various ways that you can brew them. It was really clear that he and the other staff were really passionate about the blends being sold, and I also liked that you could get a free cup of tea if you made a purchase and signed up (which we did).I’ve always found that the best tea shops are ones where the staff deeply understand what they are selling, without being pushy and this shop was no different.We ended up buying a few different blends and a tea infuser, which taste great.The store is also really nicely decorated, and they do various events throughout the year.I would absolutely come back here, this was a brilliant experience and I’d recommend it to anyone.

A haven of tea where the staff are angels! Seriously, I always love visiting this store. Chatting tea, tasting, and buying. Bird & Blend’s tea is delicious. Something for everyone. Vanessa and the crew will take excellent care of you!

Amazing shop, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting during our trip to Oxford. Fran and Vanessa were wonderful and helped talk us through all of the tea blends and creative ways to infuse them. Lots of delicious flavours! Thanks so much for a great experience.

Very helpful services. Giving the option to smell the various teas and take away blends. Our server took her time to explain the different choices, and other types if drinks available. Great experience.

Excellent matcha demo from Jade! Such friendly staff all around and the ice cream matcha with coconut milk and a sash of lemonade was a winner. Thanks for the great service!

Had a fantastic evening at the tea blending workshop in Oxford with Alice and Vanessa. Both were super knowledgeable as they talked us through a huge selection of teas (with lots of tastings as well!) Followed by mixing our own blends. Thank you for a great evening!

I often pick up a hot drink from Bird & Blend! Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a fancy tea. I am a wheelchair user and staff are more than happy to get the ramp out for me, though it is a little embarrassing having to trouble them to do so. Staff are really friendly and can help you find a tea you’ll like if you tell them what things you’ve enjoyed before!!
