A nice place to visit, plenty of space to walk about with or without your dog, plenty of wildlife to look at, spend time to go there.

One of Craigavon's gems. Fantastic leisure facilities. The cafe in the South Lakes Leisure Center is worth a visit. Nice views and walks.

A super sport for now given the council executive have decided to allow a huge development against all objections. A great facility for people and wildlife including otters (they don't exist according to the men in suits apparently). There are pleasant walks around the lakes which are well tarmacked and great for prams and wheelchair users. The cycle tracks make for a nice local adventure and ideal for all levels though perhaps not ideal for adrenaline junkies.Certainly worth a visit and keeping it all as a park for people, wildlife and the environment.

Good long walk round the lakes just shy of 5k. Cycle paths and some off road mountain bike trails too. Plenty of wildlife here including otters which I've seen on occasion.

Beautiful park with a lovely walk around it , used by cyclists , walkers and runners alike , you will also see people out fishing on the lake as well. Well worth a visit and you can then visit the nearby Rushmere shopping centre after your stroll .

A nice series of walks around two lakes. It is well used by walkers, runners, cyclists and dog walkers. There is a plenty of birdlife to be seen too in the lakes, for example, Great Crested Grebes, swans, ducks and Cormorants. There isn’t much litter or dog fouling. The main walking route is tarmac for the entire length and is suitable for all abilities and those with mobility issues.Free car parking is available at The Lakes Leisure Centre and at various other points.
