Enniskeen Estate - Forest Spa & Luxury Glamping Cabins

Had a wonderful stay in Doe's Den which provided the perfect backdrop to a relaxing stay. A huge thank you to Andy for his hospitality and ensuring everything was perfect including the hot tub which we enjoyed under a clear starlit sky! We even managed to spot a deer as we arrived at dusk. Would thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in Enniskeen Estate’s Kingfisher’s Residence last weekend and just had the absolutely best time.The cabin itself was fabulous and just in the most idyllic setting by the river. The food was fantastic, with a breakfast hamper delivered to the door with such a great spread. We had s’mores and prosecco by the fire, which Andy lit along with the gorgeous hot tub. The attention to detail was just incredible and we loved the Wild Forest Spa also.Andy was so lovely and personable and made sure we had absolutely everything we needed and gave us tips on how best to enjoy the surroundings and wildlife. It was a fantastic weekend and we’ll absolutely be back. Thank you Andy and Esme - what a success of a covid lockdown project!

A wonderful compliment to our Game of Thrones Weekend away, after a day of Archery and Cycling in Winterfell, spending the evening in the Kingfisher Lodge was incredible, scenic views, Hot Tub, hampers of goodies in the evening and morning made for the most Wonderful Experience, unforgettable! Andy is a living legend and takes care of everything, even down to the welly boots. definately be coming again

I had booked the forest spa for my sisters birthday as a surprise and what a surprise it was! Secluded, private and stunning setting! Andy was a fantastic host, so friendly and helpful! Thanks Enniskeen and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful place. We are keen ‘glampers’ and this was a new location for us. The wildlife opportunities are unrivalled to anywhere we have ever been glamping. The cabin was lovely (stayed in Kingfishers) and the bed is so huge and comfy! Only thing I would recommend is to provide plates and cutlery for guests - this was a minor and personal thing as we always love BBQing as part of our glamping experience and from previous experiences these have always been provided. A fire pit was also missed but I understand this can be booked as an extra with s’mores etc. Location and gardens are beautiful and very wildlife friendly which was fab to see. We were very lucky and saw it all - from a red squirrel feeding, to deers munching apples from right outside our window, to Kingfishers flying up and down the river on the morning of our check out. Esme was amazing to deal with in the lead up to our stay, extremely accommodating which was very much appreciated. Andy was also extremely accommodating explaining everything, taking our bags, delivering breakfast, and was great to chat to about the wildlife. Breakfast was a real highlight, delivered in a picnic basket which we thoroughly enjoyed in our seats by the Shimna river. Thanks for a very chilled and relaxing night off grid.

We had the most incredible experience staying in Does Den at Enniskeen Estate for our one year wedding anniversary. Andy is so lovely and helpful and made sure we were comfortable using the amenities (hot tub, generator etc). He also answered lots of our questions about the grounds and the nature around us. The location is so beautiful and we were lucky to get a visit from some deer while we sat in the hot tub. Highly recommend the smores package and the breakfast is top teir (Andy even added in some veggie sausages for us). A gorgeous place to switch off from the world, bring a good book, some walking shoes and enjoy!

Absolute bliss! It takes you a while to appreciate the quiet location and just settle and relax whilst listening to the sounds of the nature.Beautiful glambing pods, with all possible details thought throught. Even down to the topics of the books in the pod.The room has a cooler box that runs with the battery given to you. Great to keep drinks and snacks cold.Nice size bathroom with a shower and a porcelain throne with a view!The wood fired hot tub outside was just perfect for two. You can watch the deer roam around whilst relaxing in the hot tub.Definitely will recommend booking the sauna in the woods. Great löyly, amazing views and a great hide away to relax and unwind.The location is perfect. You are only a mile away from Newcastle so easy to nip out for dinner. Once you're at your pod you would not know you're so close to everything. Absolutely perfect!

We had a wonderful stay in the Kingfisher pod. It is beautifully located with stunning mountain and river views as well as of deer in the orchard. A peaceful and private location and beautifully appointed accommodation with everything you require. We will be back!

My wife and I stayed for two nights in Doe's Den . The stay was wonderful, tranquil and a perfect rest away from home. We did not have a car with us but Andy was very helpful in picking us up from the centre of Newcastle. We utilised the outdoor hut tub and had some deer visitors at a distance both in the evening and morning. We also cooked some marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit at the front of the cabin and some beautiful views into the countryside and of the highest peak in Northern Ireland, also spotting a red squirrel and heron. The breakfast hamper was plentiful and the little touches such as the very comfy bedding were welcomed. It was one of the more expensive stays I have been on before in the UK but it was something a little different for a special occasion. Thanks to Andy for making it a great stay and making some helpful recommendations.
