Heathrow Animal Reception Centre

When my flight landed with our two cats on board I watched at the gate out of curiosity about the whole process. Well, HARC staff had a van ready and someone was at the belt to get the crates the very moment they came down the belt. The staff at the facility are very professional and clearly love animals very much, and adapt to the needs and temperament of each and every animal that comes through. We only waited a few minutes once we received the phone call from our broker (JCS) and the staff even helped us to the car with the crates. Thank you !

On Wednesday I came to collect my pet cat, Matcha. She had been through quite a traumatic couple of days, and it was a relief to be reunited. Thank you so much for your kindness and care. It is so clear to me that you all deeply care for animals. My mum called you concerned about whether or not she had arrived, and the man she spoke to was so kind and reassuring and put our minds at ease. The receptionist was lovely and efficient. The lady who gave Matcha to me on collection was very kind and offered me some caring advice. I'm sorry as I didn't ask any names! Matcha was instantly comfortable once out of the crate, and is eating, drinking, using the litter box and enjoying lots of cuddles. Thank you once again!

My little poodle and I travel to London every year and the HARC team makes the paperwork process seamless and easy. They are also a pleasure to communicate with, extremely efficient and responsive, and most importantly, detail oriented. We really appreciate all of the team members at HARC! Thank you!

Our dog traveled from Istanbul Airport and thanks to the pre-check we knew that all documents were in order. Our flight landed at 6pm and she was released from HARC at around 9:30pm, which was a relief after being told it could take up to 8 hours. The way that the UK government treats pet travel is abysmal but at least HARC staff were absolutely lovely and helpful. Despite the long queue to receive our cat at the facility, because of HARC's limited accommodation space for animals, once we got the arrival date scheduled everything worked really well.Communication and instructions for collecting our pet were smooth, the staff took really good care of her to make sure she was safe and healthy.You shouldn't arrive before being officially notified that your pet is ready for collection, otherwise you'll have to wait at the parking area.The pet travelling container is your responsibility, but they give you an option to dispose it for a small fee.

Staff at HARC are caring, kind and professional. ♥️They went out of their way to clear our pet, Jake who was held at HARC for a few days after landing at Heathrow due to a documentation error in export country.They looked after our Pet more than we do and they even spent times with him playing while he was at HARC. Whole team came out to say goodbye to Jake, the day we got him released.Especially, I would like to thank “Will Hall” who helped us throughout the process and giving us the chance to clear our dog.Please refer the pictures of Jake while he was at HARC.

I was very anxious and they were very kind, patient and reassuring.Isabelle was so sweet at the gate as we arrived from USA with a lovely welcoming sign with an x next to my dog’s name. What a fantastic service amidst the chaos of trying to match up international regulators and their various foibles.

Staff at HARC were so caring and professional! I am extremely happy with the service that was provided throughout the entire process! They put a worried owners mind at ease! It’s clear to see that they put animal welfare at their upmost top priority!

Lovely, helpful people, open 24hrs. Made picking up our pups a very positive experience.
