Our 14 year old son Billy had been struggling with a perforated eardrum for a while. The perforation was impacting on Bills hearing and was preventing him from swimming and diving which was tough on an active lad. When it became clear that the perforation would not self heal, the consultant Mr Andrew Camilleri performed a Myringoplasty operation to repair the hole. The operation went smoothly and was wholly successful with Billy now having full ear function including a sealed ear meaning Billy can enjoy water again.Throughout the interactions with Mr Camilleri , he was superb at keeping us informed of the processes involved in the pre-operation, the operation and the aftercare.
