Castle View Accommodation
We were very scared due to the reviews but the experience was very nice. Clean room, clean bathroom, perfect location. The walls are too thin but everything else was very nice.

The worst experience I've had from staff. My partner and I went to inquire about leaving our bags early before checking in. We understand that this may not always be possible but the owner very rudely dismissed us and made us feel extremely unwelcome. His whole manner was very aggressive. I've stayed in hostels which haven't been the cleanest or perhaps the staff haven't been very polite and it hasn't bothered me too much. However this man seemed to have a very nasty streak about him, we felt so uncomfortable about staying that we immediately went to another place and we lost our money on the booking. There seemed to be other hostels in the area. I'd really advice anyone to choose a different place as this was such an unpleasant experience.

We booked this as a last resort as everywhere else was full - would have been better to stay outside the city!The walls were so thin and there was a group of loud men (sounded like a lot of them in one room) who were crashing around in the corridor and the room next door constantly between 3-7am until a couple of them left. Their TV sounded like it was in the room with us.The shared bathroom was dirty and mouldy, and the bedroom smelled like cigarettes. Beds weren’t too horrific, but that wasn’t worth much at this point.Don’t waste your time - it’s not even particularly cheap (I’ve stayed in much cheaper/nicer hostels).

Absolutely solid experience here. My friend and I had to stay overnight in Inverness and this was by far the cheapest place. Having stayed in a variety of accomodation at a variety of price brackets, I must say that for budget accommodation this completely fits the bill. I don't know what else you can expect for the rates that are charged. If you want en suite or a reception room, pay for it! We had two warm beds, WiFi, decent (shared) shower, and everything was clean. That said, we did not interact with the staff, so I cannot speak to that aspect. I got one am glad that accomodation exists at this price point.

Before you book. DONT. Apart from location this place has zero to offer. If your after a wardrobe don’t. And iron you would be lucky. Kettle or even your own bathroom. Yes it’s shared dirty old bathroom. Rooms and not much better as little under beds and broken windows. Host was off sight and doesn’t respond to any questions. Find extra £20 and stay somewhere else.

I would not recommend this accomodation. If possible, avoid it. We did not want to use the shower.First of all, the Check-in was very nerve wrecking with the staff. I did Not get the door Code and he was Not very helpful (to say it polite).I've booked just one night.I'm Not Sure the bed linen were washed?Overall, next time I happily pay a few bucks extra to get a nice room.

Absolutely a shambles, no service personnel on the site, my room had no sink, no cups or kettles. Bed was uncomfortable. Under no circumstances should you pay £60 for a room with only a bed in it.

I booked to stop in the castle view paid £70 for a night then got a text telling me that they have 2 properties and I'd been put in this other one called budget rooms, which I think is a bit wrong as I'd paid for a different B&B. The budget one is very nice but nowhere to hang your clothes just draws for ya pants socks and t-shirts, there's no plug for the bathroom sink so impossible to fill the sink for a shave, but other than that it's a nice room, clean and comfortable

Cost £60 and had no WC in the room, the beds were loud and horribly uncomfortable, walls were paper thin (I could hear other people breathing and lightly coughing).
