Contacted ammo has I had concerns regarding my timing chain on my 2010 bmw diesel E47 engine I was unaware that the timing chains only had a lifespan of 100000 miles and should be replaced. I found this out as a friend Simon Goff recently had his timing chain snap and Ammo did the repair. Ammo told me what to check to identify if the chain needed replacing which is basically a rattling sound on initial start up from cold. Surely enough my car had this noise. Contacted Ammo who fitted me in within 3 days. Left the car with him Thursday evening had the car back Saturday lunchtime. Did a complete clutch kit and replaced the broken crankcase pulley. Ammo sent me a video as work was proceeding showing the broken crankcase pulley and engine out. Work was carried out very quickly and Ammo was great to deal with. Would recommend great work.

Rang them early Saturday morning at their busiest time as my car had developed an airbag fault. Was told to come straight down, fixed within 10 minutes and refused to take payment.Absolute top guys, very knowledgeable.Will definitely be using again in the future!

I recently moved into the area of Newport. Unfortunately I had a lot of steam coming from my bonnet (BMW 435D) after one of my travels. I called this company - liaised with Amir but he was fully booked until the end of next week. He very kindly asked me to bring the car to him on the same day I called and instantly diagnosed the problem (broken water pump). He said he will try and get it done ASAP but looking at the end of next week. 2 days later he called me and said my car was done. Reviewed the car and it was indeed back to its normal self. Very respectable price and I actually left a small tip to show him my gratitude. Very nice bunch. I would recommend without reservation and have found my permanent mechanic at Newport. Had the timing chain go on my bmw 118d. Ammo quoted half the price of anyone else. Ammo went out of his way and worked until 10pm to get my car sorted. He sent me all the photos of damage and repairs. I had my car back fully working, cleaned within 24 hours. Ammo also fixed some other minor issues which I didn’t even tell him about all within the same cost. You can’t fault this guy, he really knows his stuff. My BMW will not be going anywhere else in the future. Big thanks again Ammo for such amazing friendly service.

My BMW series 2 just failed its MOT with a worn lower, front control arm ball joint. Ammo and his team really went out of their way to source parts, identify that also the inner control arm bush needed replacement and then carry out the repairs.The customer service would be > 5 stars from me due to the speed and professionalism of service - a special thanks to Mario, the mechanic who carried out the work.I would certainly recommend this garage.

absolutely spot on experience. After having our card off the road for 2 months and taking it to 3 garages with no luck - Rang Ammo on Friday and without even saying too much he knew exactly what was wrong with our bmw 1 series ref the timing chain and oil pressure issue. Gave a rough quote on the phone. So Had the car towed there in the afternoon - a few hours later we had videos coming through with info on what he was doing and what he had found wrong with the engine. By 12pm Saturday engine back in and car on the road again - with price as quoted too and no hidden extras. Could not recommend enough for a painless service. Thanks Ammo

These lads are excellent! All the reviews are backed up by the service. Had a few issues with my 3 series, abs sensor, abs rings, diff was on its way out, and had a misfire issue that no other garage could seem to solve, I changed the spark plugs and coil packs as recommended by other garages but the problem still persisted. These lads said it was an injector straight away, injector changed, problem solved. Wish I’d just gone to them first time. Handed the car over on Thursday, got it back on Friday afternoon. Everything done. At a fraction of the cost of anywhere else.Keep doing what your doing lads, great service! Can’t fault it.Callum
