Serendipity Antiques

I think there are 3 floors and 7 different rooms filled with reasonably priced antiques! We loved it!

A great antique shop, best for furniture and prints but there is always an interesting selection of items. We've had a few bits from here - an enamel sign, a victorian trunk, couple of 1900 prints and a bit of trench art - that kind of variety. The owner is helpful and clearly knowledgeable. They do a range of shabby chic and currently a few period dolls houses.

It was the first time I went in and the name said it all. Spotted an item and negotiated a great price and some small cosmetic enhancements which were offered by the very helpful young man who dealt with us. It's a must see place full of treasure and it's huge inside, a real tardis experience.

Brilliant place, I love it. Crammed floor to ceiling with all manner of interesting things. There's so much stuff you could spend hours in there.Today I was looking for a birthday gift - and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of choice. Always something unusual. Always something for every pocket.Simon is very knowledgeable, and always super helpful.

Staff were super helpful. We were looking for a particular cabinet which they sourced, cleaned up, repaired and delivered. Could not ask for more. Good price too.

Intriguing place, knick knacks all over, some beautiful furniture at reasonable prices. It's over 3 small floors in an old building so not wheelchair friendly.

Going into an antiques shop is always such a thrill, unfortunately due to decline in interest many of these amazing treasure troves have been forced to close. These days the novelty of going to an antique shop and browsing for hours on end is slowly being replaced with the much less entertaining method of trawling through the internet hoping you can find something worth paying the heavy delivery fee that antiquities usually come with.Come down to Serendipity Antiques if you want service with a smile and a great price, take your pick from a selection of three floors worth of stock ranging from household furniture to the most exquisite vases and chandeliers, and even if they dont have exactly what you are looking for they can find you something to do the job.If you want to sell or buy, you will be greeted with years of hands on experience, of which you will struggle to find anywhere else localy

Really interesting house packed full with stuff, and the guy who runs it was very nice
