Booked a table on line , drove 12 miles to be told on arrival that there was no table available for us even though I had email confirmation . The guy behind the bar, I think he may of been Eastern European was one of the rudest people I have ever met in hospitality . He embarrassed us in front of all the other guests and made us feel very unwelcome. He is very obviously robbing a career . If you want good service then please avoid this place. It really was awful .

Our room had an amazing outdoor seating area to enjoy some tea and listen to the ocean. Staff was great and cool location close to everything in town.

I was here only for food. Horrible service because they forgot the entree. Then offered it to us after the mains. They didn't come back and take my wine order until after the main meal was served. It's not like it was busy. I don't know her name, but the lady who works there did not have a clue about service. I had the mousse for dessert but she brought me a spoon that didn't fit into the bottom of the glass serving bowl. The spoon was too big, so I had to leave some of the mousse. If I was at home I would have just used my finger, but I was out and one needs to maintain some sort of dignity. I mean honestly! And I love mousse.

We had a great experience, sadly only stayed for one night so we will stay for longer next time! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Lyme Regis but with the massive bonus of private parking (although you do have to pay extra). Check in was easy and very helpful and we were able to book an hour in the pool just after we arrived. Lovely to have the pool to ourselves for an hour, it was a great way to unwind after a long drive. All of the staff we encountered during our stay were very friendly and helpful, with a particular mention for Grace who was our waitress at dinner and she was brilliant thank you! Food at dinner and breakfast was of excellent quality and there was plenty of it. I very much enjoyed the range of local beers in the bar too.Only slight negative was that some of the fittings in our bathroom could have done with updating but nothing major. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

Lovely food and quick, efficient and friendly staff. Only stopped for quick lunch/dinner and left impressed and fuller than I usually am! Highly suggest for families or small groups of tourists, something for everyone on the menu, even fussy eaters like me!

We had Sunday lunch here on a recent visit. The service was lovely. Food was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals. My wife is allergic to dairy and eggs and they dealt with this perfectly.

This place has Lovely, old world charm interiors.Superior room with balcony and sea views had the 'wiw' factor. It was very comfortable and I have already booked again.

Went here for an evening meal. Service friendly and efficient. All our main meals were delicious. Unfortunately one of the puddings - the fruit crumble - wasn't edible so the waitress took it back. She was very apologetic and it was taken off the bill. This won't stop us returning for another meal as everything else was excellent.

Leg felt itchy at 3:30am and woke up to find bed bugs on my leg, also found bed bugs in the other room we had that are 2 rooms away. End up throwing away our suitcases and most of our belongings, and stayed outside until shops were open to buy some new clothes. I have to see a GP to treat my 30+ bites as some of them blistered badly. The night receptionist and the manager dismissed us when we first told them about bed bugs, until we showed them the pictures and my bites, then they offered not to charge for our stay. We have made formal complaint to the company and received feedback that they will have pest control visit these two rooms, but I still advise people to stay at their own risk as bed bugs are likely to already infect other room.
