D'bouk restaurant
Wow! Absolutely blown away by the food. It was delivered in good time, the driver was really lovely and polite and the food still lovely and warm. I hade two starters: Hummus Kawarma (lamb) and Arayes. Portions were so generous that I will be having the rest this evening. The taste of the food was incredible. I have never tasted food as good as this before. So impressed that I called the restaurant. Can't recommend highly enough. Excellent value for money as well.

What a wonderful find. The food is amazing and there is so much of it. We went during the week so it was a bit quiet. The staff were very attentive. I am a Lebanese food concert. We will definitely going back xx

Popped in with my family to treat ourselves earlier today. Loved the decorations as we walked in and the service was amazing to start with. The starters were very flavourful and was well worth the wait! The mains are amazing! I had the mixed seafood and I fell in love within the first bite! I recommend the baklavas for dessert. Very soft and sweet! Would definitely go again!

A relaxed atmosphere is the first thing that strikes one. The room is tastefully decorated with simple furnishings. It is airy between the tables despite the small venue. The light is subdued and mostly consists of light coming in from windows and candles. The staff is committed and helpful, well-read and knowledgeable. Not a large selection of wine, but the range they have went well with the food in my case, well thought out. The food is far from the usual ones offered in fine restaurants. Is you get an experience with flavor combinations and texture beyond the ordinary. With this I expect a price range out of the ordinary, but in our case there was nothing that stood out. Well worth a visit, one of London's best dining experiences.

Just been for our second visit to Rayleigh’s best kept secret. What a gem, excellent all round, even the Lebanese house wine (white) is very drinkable. Prices very reasonable. Top of our list for places to eat out.

As an avid lover of Moroccan and libanaise cuisine and its rich cultural heritage, I recently had the pleasure of dining at D'bouk Restaurant, an establishment that promises an authentic Moroccan experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the restaurant's stunning Moroccan decor, which transported me to the vibrant streets of Marrakech. The first thing that caught my eye was the intricate tile work adorning the walls, reminiscent of the famous Moroccan zellij craftsmanship. The warm, earthy color palette, ornate lanterns casting a soft glow, and cozy seating areas with plush cushions all contributed to the inviting and exotic ambiance. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the tajine. D'bouk Restaurant boasts an impressive selection of traditional tajines, and I must say, they did not disappoint. I opted for the lamb tajine with prunes and almonds, and it was a delectable masterpiece. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with each bite, and the combination of sweet prunes and crunchy almonds added a delightful contrast of flavors and textures. The tajine was served piping hot, releasing aromatic spices that tantalized my senses and left me craving more. One cannot discuss D'bouk without mentioning the charismatic owner, Ibrahim. He greeted me warmly upon arrival and shared his passion for Moroccan cuisine and culture. Ibrahim's extensive knowledge and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of authenticity to the dining experience. He took the time to explain the ingredients and cooking techniques used in each dish, making me appreciate the care and craftsmanship that went into every plate. The service at D'bouk was attentive and friendly throughout my visit. The waitstaff was well-versed in the menu and offered recommendations based on personal preferences. They were quick to refill drinks and ensured that each guest felt welcome and comfortable. While D'bouk Restaurant excels in delivering an enchanting ambiance and mouthwatering tajines, there were a few minor areas where improvements could be made. The menu, while showcasing a wide variety of tajines, could benefit from a broader selection of Moroccan dishes to cater to different preferences. Additionally, the pricing, while reflective of the quality and authenticity, may be slightly higher compared to other establishments offering similar cuisine.Overall, my experience at D'bouk Restaurant was a delightful journey into the heart of Moroccan cuisine. The exquisite Moroccan decor, the tantalizing aromas, and the expertly prepared tajines all contributed to an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a connoisseur of Moroccan cuisine or simply seeking a unique culinary adventure, D'bouk Restaurant is a destination worth visiting. Just be prepared to be transported to the enchanting streets of Morocco and indulge in a feast fit for royalty.Note: Please note that this review is based on my personal experience and reflects my own opinions.
