Lucky that I was in London on the grand opening day and really glad to have it back in Piccadilly! All the okashi are so attractive and delicious. There were some promotions just for the grand opening available. Even that's quite pricey but definitely worth it.

They offer a wide range of delicate Japanese cakes, desserts and sweet snacks. The staff are helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is very soothing and satisfying. Most cakes are quite sweet though, best served with Matcha or pure black tea.

Be careful when you’re visiting from outside of the UK and are paying with a foreign card. They do not ask if you want to pay in pound or your home currency, so Im guessing they automatically choose you to pay in your currency which will be pricier than paying in pound due to the additional currency conversion fee. Later when I was checking the payment history, I realized that I had paid over 6€ for a £3.5 mochi when I thought it would be just over 4€..

This place is a definite go to if you want to try something special and different. Happened to stumble across it and had to go in. Off the bat we were given some kusamochi rice cake complimentary and it was so fluffy and yummy. I bought the Japanese fluffy cake and we had the matcha set in store. After we finished the staff gave us a peach jelly tester and even that was so delicious, tasted so pure. We even ended up buying the rice cake from before. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly. Had a great time in the shop and all the snacks were really good. Would definitely go again.

Poor management. They do not provide customers with basic utensils to eat at the tables provided. Also a bizarre ammount of warning signs that make customers uncomfortable. Amazing food but management should rethink how they offer their services.

A great little venue that serves authentic Japanese sweets and treats. I brought my partners Japanese colleague and she was so happy to have treats from home. The staff are so friendly and we were made feel at home.

Was devo'd when the old shop across the road closed, used to go every Sunday for Senbei. But it's back in the BAFTA Building now selling all the same brilliant stuff, one of the best shops in London.

I wish I had taken more pictures while I was inside, because all the sweets were very cute and looked so good. We bought a couple of mochi which were both delicious - they cost £2.50 apiece or something close, so that's no worse than a fancy macaron shop. The staff are very kind and professional - I'd love to stop by every time I'm in the area.
