Kumon Maths & English

My daughter’s only been attending for several weeks and she’s made progress in English in leaps and bounds! She was just made Student of the Week at school for a story she had written that got publish in a magazine. Highly recommended!

My daughter started Kumon 7monts ago. I can see a huge difference in her maths, before she use to use her fingers to do addition and substraction but now she can easily do the equations. When it comes to English her vocabulary improved a lot. Sarah gives attention to each kids progress and gives a prompt feedback. Sarah and team is amazing.

Kumon has played a major role in my life both with my character and my academic abilities. It has helped me not only at school but also out of school and at home. Not only am I able to get ahead with my school level, but I’m also recapping stuff that I have learned in previous years. The Kumon scheme of work is adapted to suit the child’s needs and I like that because Sarah is understanding about it and will work around our schedules. Kumon has taught me to become more independent with my studies. Sarah and her team are very patient and calm and if I am ever stuck with work, they guide me to how to get the answer. I am also thankful for the work experience Sarah has provided me and I am happy to be part of her team. Highly recommend going to this Kumon and I am grateful for Sarah and her team supporting me in my studies.

My son completed primary level in Summer 2017. Sarah and her team are amazing and Sarah is a great tutor. We would recommend Kumon strongly to anyone. Here's what my son thinks of his Kumon experience: My name is William and I am 12 years old. I have been a student at Kumon Poundhill for two years doing the maths programme. I was quite apprehensive about doing the Kumon work but I soon got into the routine. I aimed to complete my booklets each day within the timeframe and keep on top of the work. This really paid off, I was getting through each level at a really good pace and Sarah, my tutor, was really encouraging. I enjoyed going to the centre each week as I got to compete against my brother, but also got the support and praise to get me to progress. I have valued the support of Kumon, as it prepared me for my independent school exam and my SATS. I passed my exam! My SATS results were great too, and Kumon was a major factor in this for preparing myself mentally and under pressure and working to a timeframe. Thanks Sarah and Kumon, my secondary school journey has started with a blast and I owe it to Kumon which has got me ahead of my learning years and the ability to work out maths problems mentally and quickly.

Both my children have now been involved in the Kumon process.It has had a huge effect on their ability to learn the basics, which means they are far more confident when it comes to taking on more complicated challenges at school.The simple process has helped them to learn how to plan and organise tasks,not to mention Sarah's endless enthusiasm and ability to instil confidence!

My daughter is 7 and she has a speech and language delay. Since she joined kumon she totally makes great progress. She's more confident and enjoys her learning. The teachers are so patient. What I like more is they built up their confidence

My son Pranaav initially hesitate to come to kumon. Because of Sarah’s continuous encouragement he is very interested now. His handwriting was worse when he joined but now he has improved a lot so that he gets continuous recognition from school.
