The Walcote Practice

What can I say.... absolutely perfect experience from start to finish. I phoned in need of an urgent appointment and the receptionist managed to fit me in the same day. I wasn't sure what to expect after so many bad experiences with the NHS. However my appointment with Dr Fowler couldn't have gone any better, she made me feel at ease and listened to instantly. I really could not recommend her enough. I will most definitely be returning. (Hopefully not too soon)

We had to have a medical for a new job overseas. The Walcote Practice knew exactly what to do, got us in quickly and had our reports and test results ready within days. They also offered us some helpful advice on the results received. Both Drs and reception staff have been excellent, extremely professional and diligent in meeting our needs. I recently visited the Walcote Practice for a minor surgery and was extremely pleased with the service provided. This is a very welcoming, friendly and efficient practice. There are no waiting times, and the aftercare was included in the price of my procedure. I would recommend this surgery and Dr Nicholas Hillier to anyone wanting to avoid the queues in an NHS surgery and wanting to be cared for properly.

I’m glad I found The Walcote Practice as I needed treatment a lot quicker than my usual GP could offer. Called up and was seen with 2 days. Dr Hillier was fantastic and really listened to my needs. The practice is fab and has a very relaxing atmosphere. The reception team are also great and should I need to use this practice again I would in a heartbeat. Would highly recommend!

Visiting the doctors is never a great experience. But having been told an appointment was some time away via my NHS doctors surgery I called the Walcote Practice after a Google search and was seen within 2 hours. Dr Hillier is a model professional who helped me massively with advice and understanding of where I was and what to expect next.Moving forward I would recommend the Walcote practice to anyone, and will be continuing to work with them into the future.

I recently had a cyst removed from my scalp by Dr Nicholas Hillier, when the waiting list for having it done on the NHS was just too long. From start to finish, the care was exemplary. I was seen and treated the same week, the receptionist was wonderfully patient and accommodating when I was trying to fix an appointment. Dr Hillier took endless care to ensure I didn't end up with a bald patch on my scalp, and was immensely reassuring. I would wholeheartedly recommend this practice to anyone.

I've recently has surgery in this practice with Dr Hillier, outstanding care provided in a welcoming environment. All staff were friendly and professional .Dr Hillier took time and effort to explain the procedure and all times remained conscious of my discomfort. After care was easy and returning to the clinic for stitches removal was quick and painless.I would highly recommend.

I was diagnosed with a serious illness and Dr Hillier was absolutely invaluable in seeing me through the early days and then subsequently always being on hand to advise me. Whether I had a straightforward or more complex query he was always honest and helpful.Dr Hillier is extremely knowledgeable and professional and, although I still access the NHS, I have peace of mind in knowing that he is there and easily accessible. After trying to contact my NHS practice to help with my continuing fatigue and general feeling below par, I had an appointment with Dr Hillier. He has a fantastic listening style and considers the whole picture, not just treating the symptoms. I'm feeling a lot better, and will be back for a check up very soon. Thank you!

Excellent service, highly recommended.I contacted The Wacote Practice, reception staff were extremely helpful. I contact the practice late one evening and Dr Hillier personally emailed me the next morning with a prognosis and an appointment was made for that week.My procedure was completed that day and I must say I was very satisfied.Dr Hillier was very professional and explained every step of the procedure and provided all aftercare information.My follow up appointment was of the same standard.I cannot thank the team enough and would recommend The Walcote Practice everytime.
