The Ranch

Second time i have ordered from The Ranch via Uber Eats.First time was brilliant. Food had taste and was high quality.This time was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT.firstly, delivery was supposed to be 5:30. Then 5:40. Then was changed to 5:50. I called The Ranch via the Uber driver as they have no telepbone number that i could find and the driver put me on to the employee/manager.First person i spoke to said that they had run out of something and were waiting for a delivery which would be another 15 mins and then 15mins to cook my food then potentially around another 10-15 for the driver to collect. And of course the standard add on excuse about how crazy busy they were…..Well im not 100% sure how the Uber Eats system works but surely when you accept an order, you should be giving an actual ETA for the order instead of a reasonable time to begin with then delaying it every 10mins for a further hour??So i asked how to cancel the order and the guy put me onto someone else. I repeated the issue. He said no, ive got your food on, the driver will be with you within 15mins. At this time it was 5:45pm so i had already been waiting about 45minutes and did not really want to cancel and reoorder elsewhere for the sake of 15 mins. Fair enough, i said. Ill wait until 6pm.OUR FOOD DID NOT GET HERE UNTIL 6:17PM.Onto the food…..I am 90% certain that the smash patties were actually processed cheeseburger patties and not real smash burgers. Taste of the sauce and the 3 fried onions was nice but overall, MAJOR disappointment as we expected somethign a little more flavoursome and substantial.Now my pet peeve. You can tell alot about the quality of a food place by the amount of attention they pay to you as their customer. If you have a nut allergy and tell them and they still bring you out a “one size fits all dish” garnished with finely chopped nuts, you know they couldnt really care less about you.Well, I SPECIFICALLY LEFT A NOTE EXPLAINING THAT THE FOOD WAS FOR CHILDREN AND TO PLEASE NOT ADD ANYTHING CHILLI ONTO THE FOOD AND SEND SALAD AND SAUCES SEPARATELY.Lo and behold…..all 4 meals (6 were ordered) were soaked in chilli sauce. I spent a further 15 minutes separating all the food and rinsing off the chicken and donner to get rid of the heat.Funnily enough, i did ask for extra special house sauce on the 2 smash burger meals…..but they had nothing at all on them.Avoid guys. Its a shame as they really did have some strong potential. Unfortunately, just another one that bites the dust.

Ordered on Ubereats, buy one get one free deal for chicken steak and chips, except I seemed to get one chicken steak and chips and one chips.

The food is really nice , must try the ranch special burger WOW hits you differently that does ! Guys everyone must try the ranch 10/10 food !

Great food top service

Woow the smashburger was 10/10..we got the 3 top smahburger on the menu and The Ranch did not dissappoint...Customer service was excellent as the order was taken while we sat in the car and food delivered to the car.....Will deffo be eating here regularly

Had the donner stir fry and steak n chips Perfectly cooked steak and donner meat, amazing chips and the sauce was perfect! Very good set of lads working especially Shabaz gave a 5 star service highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
