Crag 2 Mountain

Attended an excellent Mountain Skills courses in Snowdonia with Crag 2 Mountain. Georgia was our guide and was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. Some really useful skills learnt.This is now my fourth course with Crag 2 Mountain and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Excellent communication throughout the booking process with an easy to navigate website. Really reasonably priced courses as well. I will be booking again (I have already).

We had a brilliant family rock climbing session at Hound Tor, Dartmoor, this week and would definitely highly recommend. Connor, our instructor, was excellent, he adapted the session for us all (mum, dad and 2 boys aged 5 and 9) and we all came away buzzing, having had a brilliant experience...definitely the highlight of our trip. Our boys were a bit unsure at first but Connor's patience and reassurance gave them the confidence to have a go and, as they were ready, they went a bit further each time. We learned about the equipment and knots and Connor was knowledgeable about the local area. We felt completely safe and all got to have a go at the different roles of climbing, belaying and bell-ringing! Amazing views from the climbs and we loved having a go at weaselling too. A brilliant way to experience this amazing part of the world. Thank you Crag2Mountain, we'll be back!

We did the family caving adventure. It was absolutely fantastic, brilliant fun. Prepare for crawling, squeezing, dropping, clambering, sliding and climbing through the cave system. Anyone with a reasonable level of fitness and health will be able to enjoy it. Challenges for anyone who wants to push themselves, easy way round for any who don't! Fantastic experience with wonderful guides Baz and Noah, cannot praise them highly enough. Be prepared to get absolutely filthy tho!

Our climbing hosts were professional, family friendly and extremely helpful. We had a really good day on the rocks, despite pouring rain. The routes were well chosen for our needs, and the abseiling was a fun addition to the day. I would recommend them without reservation.

Attended a NNAS Silver Award back in May. Excellent instructors, well organised course and an overall enjoyable weekend. Skills came in very useful this weekend!

Myself and a friend did 2 days of guided bespoke climbing at Dewerstone Rocks. Barry our guide was fantastic, my friend had never led before and by the end of two days was confident and safe leading multi-pitch routes up to Severe 4a. I entered the course having lead multi-pitch routes before but having lost my confidence following a fall earlier this year, and being self-taught I wanted to confirm my knowledge. I came out feeling confident to jump back into trad fully and even confident to help other on routes with some new rescue techniques we were taught. Barry answered every question we had and new exactly when to step in to help, or step back to let us gain independence. He went above and beyond to make it a great couple of days and I cannot recommend Crag2Mountain enough as a result.

A fantastic day and really informative. Within the first 10 minutes I learned a huge amount and it kept getting better! Baz knew so much and was a really great instructor. Definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be able to get out there with more confidence and know where they are on a map!

We went caving and had an amazing time! Baz took us around the caves and encouraged to have fun in the passage ways and chambers and he felt like a mate in the group more than a guide. He has a great knowledge of the caves ensuring you can crawl, scramble and climb whilst being safe. I'd highly recommend doing with a group of friends its a great laugh and great adventure.
