Popped into the shop to see Paul and wish him well in his new venture. We ended up having a chat about hifi separates and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you don’t need to break the bank to own one. I managed to pick up a new stylus for my turntable. Well worth the visit.

Fantastic shop. Took my record player to get fixed. You pay a base rate and then if it needs more work, you pay anything extra on top. I only paid the base rate as it was a quick fix and it was ready to pick up two days later. Fantastic service, great communication and very good price too. I will definitly use this service again. I bought a Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster and Vox 15 Amp from Ness Music - I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Good help and advice was on offer from Paul and I tried out the instruments with no pressure at all. I also asked if he could look at my Sigma acoustic which had too high an action for me and he sorted that too. So Paul comes highly recommended from me. Thank you.

Extremely friendly staff with expert knowledge and experience. Ain't anyone I trust more in Scotland to take care of my guitars from set ups to breathing new life into guitars, from beginners to experts this place has everything covered while providing a great warm and friendly experience.

After a guitar I had bought elsewhere arrived with a bad setup and fret clearance problems, I got in touch with Ness music. We live quite a distance away from the shop and were running late so gave them a phone, to which they were very accommodating in offering to keep the shop open until we arrived.We Arrived at the shop and were greeted by a friendly man behind the counter.Upon speaking to him about the issues I had with the guitar, It became apparent that he was obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about what he was doing.The work was completed timely and to a very high standard. I was also glad that I had listened to his recommendation about strings, breaking my normal habits of using standard strings as oppose to coated.As i previously stated, the work was carried out quickly and to a high standard and I feel that the price was excellent in reflection of this.I will definitely be using this shop in the future.Highly recommend.

What an excellent service. I don't like to going into music shops. Always feel like I'm a hindrance to the staff. Normally on a phone or just grunt at you. Not at Ness music. Was helpful and very pleasant to deal with will use them again.

Came across Ness Music while visiting Inverness, there is a great selection of guitars and gear. Paul was very helpful and friendly, got a set of studio headphones for a great price and they are excellent. Will be returning anytime I'm back in the Ness.
