A true forest! Lots of paths and tracks to take you through beautiful areas. The beech trees are wonderful. Picnic areas throughout. Tons of exploring.

Wentwood was brilliant, we started off the trip but jumping in some puddles, moved swiftly onto having acorns thrown at me. After this shortStop we Managed to walk a way into the woods before someone declared that they needed a poo. As my son isn’t a bear we then had to high tail it out of there and find a loo. Would come back (maybe bring doggy bags next time)

DOG WALKERS!!: Absolutely beautiful place for walk with the family or with the dogs. If you do walk the dogs during spring/summer please be mindful that at Wentwood Forest there is alot of ticks about, I have had to remove ticks from my dog on 3 occasions. Ticks are something you cant avoid due to the deers/wildlife but remember to check your dog after every walk.
