As a farrier I regularly refer my clients to Hannah. Hannah has worked on dozens of my clients horses and has made remarkable progress. Her calm, gentle, kind and understanding approach puts the horses at ease, and her ability to locate the issue that is troubling the horse is amazing. This is reflected when I trim or shoe them after a treatment. The horses are much more relaxed and I can feel marked improvement in their limb mobility as I work around the horse.​Hannah has worked wonders on horses that I have been unable to even lift the legs from the floor, but now those same horses will allow me to work without further issue.​Whilst trimming the hooves of horses Hannah has treated I've noticed a significant improvement in the medio-lateral hoof balance in those that have had locomotive issues, particularly issues within the hind limbs. Hannah has released the tension and pain in the horses' body that has been causing gait abnormalities. The horses limbs are now moving more freely and correctly, thus the hooves are now able to load efficiently. Correct hoof loading is vital in reducing the damaging effects of concussion upon the hooves and limbs.​

Our lovely boy Toby spent a number of weeks at the retreat with Hannah. His behaviour had changed and the relationship with his rider (our young daughter) have broken down. He showed no obvious signs of injury or pain, but he was not himself. A friend recommended we ask Hannah to take a look at him, advising us she could assess his back, check his saddle and work with him spiritually and behaviourally.It sounded just what we needed.Hannah worked with Toby offering the whole package whilst he stayed at the retreat with her.He is a totally different pony following his stay. She has worked with him on such an incredible level, looking after not just his physical health but his well-being also.He is in much better shape, more relaxed, back to his usual self and has learnt some riding manners, he has responded so well to a different approach Hannah has shown him/us to requesting things of him.It has been amazing and so emotional to watch his journey with Hannah.He trusts her implicitly and the bond between them is something magical.We as a family would highly recommend Hannah and the services she offer. I sent my boy to Hannah last month and wow what an experience! She is so lovely, keeps you updated on a daily basis, treats her retreat stay horses like they are her own! Would highly recommend her especially to horses who haven't had the greatest start to life, I ended up finding a lot more about my horse and why he reacts in certain situations/ways.

Hannah has been a great help in assisting me purchase my Deuber and Partner El Campo saddle for my Connemara mare. Hannah guided me through the process of measuring and ordering the saddle and saddle pad , answering all of my questions and queries with amazing patience.
