Interesting but very... run down. Can't get in, just look through fences. Hope they will bring back to former glory one day

A boat built in 1917 and was used to transport goods from Liverpool to Ireland now resides here in Liverpool in one of two dry docks. Unable to go on the boat and the area is fenced off limiting what you can see.

the De Wadden has been permanently dry-docked in Liverpool by the Merseyside Maritime Museum since the 1980s(?), but the 1917-built (former cargo vessel) schooner seems to have been very well looked/conserved... I'm assuming on-board tours is still not done, it still nice to see a ship with it's history still so well preserved today...
