I contacted CJS guitars to enquire about replacing the nut of my electric Guitar, Chris was very helpful and we made arrangements for me to drop the guitar off, upon meeting Chris, he looked my guitar over and noted a few other problems with its set up and offered to sort those out for me while he had it.The repair was turned around quickly and I am really pleased with the quality of the work and the adjustments made to the set has indeed made the guitar easier to play.I would highly recommend CJS guitars for any repairs, set up or technical questions you may have.

Chris at CJS Guitars has set up multiple guitars of mine and each have played perfect for me.He has also fitted multiple different pickups to my guitars and I have zero issues.Once had an issue with a Floyd rose on an ibanez iron label which I couldn't get to hold tune after restringing the day before a gig. Spoke to Chris, dropped the guitar off and he managed to sort the issue in a few hours.Great services which I will continue to use.Thank you

This guy is a genius, took my partner's accustic guitar with extremely high action and my electric guitar with G-string issues. Both play absolutely perfectly now. I was stunned on how low the action is now compared to how it was, playability is spot on. She is extremely happy. Highly recommended. 5 stars is an understatement.

Chris did a fantastic job of my Yamaha acoustic, halving the action and making it play like a dream. Can’t recommend him enough if you want you guitar setting up properly. Really good value for money.

Hadn’t used my guitar in over a decade as been in storage and wanted to start playing again. Gave it to Chris who did in an incredible job setting up the guitar and giving it a nice clean. Feels like new!

Chris fixed a nasty buzz i had on a Fender P Bass. Was a tricky job as nothing obvious appeared wrong with it. He went above and beyond to sort it and even serviced some other minor issues that he noticed for no additional charge. My bass is now back to its full glory. I completely trust CJS to work on any of my gear and would have no problem in recommending their service to anyone. Thank you very much

5 star service from Chris. This is the first time I have used CJS but most certainly won't be the last! Set up my Fender P bass perfectly - plays like butter. Also gave me good advice on not wasting money doing up an old Rickenbacker copy.

Awesome work from Chris. Set up my custom guitar and repaired a broken jack socket nicely. He forgot to pop my guitar strap back in my case and offered to do a 40min round trip at 9pm on a Friday to return it to me, what a gent!!!
