Calvary Chapel Hastings

I love this Church. A sincere, family atmosphere, in which the Word of God is taught through each book, bit by bit, leaving no stone unturned. It is clear to see the teachings made manifest into the members of the congregation, as we endeavour to grow in faith, love and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, conforming into His image. I feel very blessed to have found this Church, who represent Christ's body united. Hallelujah!

I am a newcomer that feels like I have found my family and a straight path to Jesus. I recommend this community, this teaching and preaching and singing to anyone who is looking for a friendly place to worship God. Every face will greet you with a radiant smile. Your knowledge of the Bible will receive an instant upgrade and you will find you can speak freely to anyone. Just what my heart was hungry for!

A really great bible teaching church, with meaningful worship in Spirit and in truth and loving fellowship of all ages. Highly recommend this church if you have a hunger for real bible teaching and opportunities for spiritual maturity.

Great welcoming congregation and edifying church service

Great people and a warm welcome. A modern style church with no pressures. Wasn't sure it would be for me so hesitated before first walking in the door. Have to say really enjoyed Sunday services and other events held and glad I started to go regularly. The excellent pastor offers great sermons which can be quiet entertaining. Services usually offer a chance for silent or communal prayer. Great worship music. If you want to ensure a seat early arrival is often recommend They also run a Wednesday evening bible study at other venue, The Lighthouse, close by. Very popular church for all ages and denominations.

I've been a part of this church since 2007 at the very beginning and through changes and challenges it has been a blessing to be involved. Teaching is amazing and the people are wonderful, but I would say that as Tommy Fretwell is the pastor! God is at the centre of everything.

First visit of this church, today, and found fellowship to be warm and genuine, as in a loving family. Pastor Doug was warm, joyful and passionate as he preached from Gods word, and actually used the Bible throughout sermon.Would recommend this church/fellowship to any person seeking both the spirit of the word, and to anyone interested in an uncompromising adherence to scripture.

After spending 6 years at Calvary Chapel Hastings, I cannot adequately express how much of a blessing this church has been to me. The congregation truly loves God and loves people, and had I not had to move away for work/visa reasons, I would still be there today. Whether you are a committed Christian or just interested in finding out more, know that you will be warmly welcomed here with both grace and truth.
