First time ever doing clays but the instructor Roger was really good and I enjoyed it all. Nice location as well. I would go again for more lessons

Essex and Herts Shooting School
This is a lovely place to learn to shoot. Roger and Vicki are lovely people. Roger is a great teacher and the ground is a confidence booster with no body else shooting same time as you very personal experience.Would highly recommend to anyone. Very relaxed atmosphere for the novice or if your a experienced shooter wanting advice on a particular target roger caters for all.

I took along my 14 year old grandson for his first lesson last week and I can't thank them enough.It was our Jack's first lesson and he was apprehensive but they made him feel totally relaxed and made us both so welcomeThe encouragement & time given to him was outstanding - nothing was rushed - he now has the bug and he will be coming back for more lessonsSo a big thank you to you both

If you’re looking for shooting lessons with an outstanding coach look no further you’ve found them! Brilliant site, amazing variety of targets with the flexibility to move them to suit what you need practice on. Loads of work being put into the forever evolving ground. It’s a site run with passion and by shooters, and so welcoming for both male and female shooters from every level of experience. there’s a reason why I keep going back as every lesson I improve.

Decided to take the plunge and have my first ever shooting lesson. Being an Excellent Coach, Roger soon eased my nerves. I had the Best experience ever and actually hit some clays. Now I am eagerly checking my diary to book another lesson. A massive Thankyou to Roger and his lovely daughter, I will be back soon.

We booked for a hen activity for a large group of girls that was split into two groups. James was one of the instructors who deserves a special mention as he was incredibly reassuring, considerate and super patient. James really made our experience all the more enjoyable and we loved hearing about his passion and long-standing shooting experience. We will be coming back in the future - thank you James and the rest of the team for a wonderful first shooting experience!
