Dashing Dogs

Sadly as a result from going to this groomer who at the time had her friend in training shaved my dog, when she is not meant to be shaved! She now has alopecia and has lost her fur. We have not used them since and have had lengthy vets visits and tests to try and correct this. Its seems by other reviews they dont know what they doing.

I was a little concerned after my first time using Dashing Dogs, when I was told it was a complete shave or nothing for my long haired labradoodle. I was given a rather dubious explanation by the groomer (Luke) about why my dogs coat couldn't be tidied up as I was asking for – basically being told that because my dog had a poodle’ish coat it was not possible to do any stylish designs, even though I’ve seen many poodles wearing fancily cut coats before.After giving them the benefit of the doubt I arranged for Dashing Dogs to come a second time, however once again was told that they would only do a complete shave or nothing, this time giving a reason that it would take too long to dry my dog (1-3 hours, I was told!) and it would be too upsetting for my pet for them to dried for that long.My lasting impression of this dog grooming company is that they seem capable of doing a very basic grooming job, but don’t seem to be able to do anything even mildly adventurous (or even normal for poodle breeds), and they also seem inclined to only do grooming work they can do easily and quickly, so they can move onto the next customer I guess – I certainly won’t be using them again, and will be publishing this review as widely as I can for others to be aware.

So pleased with the service we received today from Dashing Dogs .. super efficient with friendly communications and diary management - on top of that handled our little dog with respect and friendliness, he came back a new clean well groomed HAPPY boy! Thanks Georgie !!!! We will be back ....

The best! I certainly recommend for any nervous dog and a great haircut too.
