I can’t recommend enough. We have a house we love but my boys rooms face onto a road that has a fair amount of traffic noise. It’s a modern house so had double glazed sash windows already so it was a big call to pull out the existing windows and replace them with Hugo Carter ones - and not cheap. However the noise reduction is remarkable & I can’t recommend the product & service anything other than 5*

The bedroom window supplied by Hugo Carter works even better than I had expected in cutting out noise from a neighbouring property whilst fitting neatly into the original window opening. Initially their office seemed disorganised in dealing with my queries (possibly due to the covid lockdowns at that time) but the actual installation of the window was done very efficiently and with considerable care taken to protect carpets and furniture in the room. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for quieter living!

Can't recommend Hugo Carter highly enough. We moved into a new home on a main road and found the traffic noise too loud to sleep in our main (road-facing) bedroom at all. We had three glazing specialists over to quote on solutions and chose to go with Hugo Carter as Jacob made us confident that, with their expertise and quality products, we would be able to reduce the noise to very comfortable levels. The customer service throughout the entire process was excellent and we were kept informed of progress regularly. Installation was seamless and completed in two days rather than the planned three. The final result is even better than I imagined. The windows look great and are of a very high quality, but the noise reduction is the real star of the show. I am a very light sleeper who is sensitive to noise and I can now sleep in that bedroom completely undisturbed all night. Picking Hugo Carter was the best decision we made and would recommend them to anyone.

It was some months before Hugo Carter were able to fit our windows, but when the team came they were very quick, friendly and efficient, installed the windows with no fuss or trouble and left the room neat and tidy. We paid a premium for these windows because of their sound-proofing claims, and we were delighted with the result - they performed exactly as promised. Not cheap, but worth every penny if excellent noise reduction is what you need.

I had 6 windows from Hugo Carter. They have acted with total professionalism from receiving the quote to the fitting of the windows. The windows look lovely and are totally draught free. They are keeping the heat in and the cold out. I really am very pleased with them. Thank you.

We have had sound proof sash windows supplied and installed by Hugo Carter and can say we are delighted with the windows and the service. We live on a busy noisy road and have a street facing bedroom which is very noisy day and night. The windows have reduced the noise to a gentle sound which is fairly noticeable and has transformed the room which we can now sleep soundly.The installation team were excellent. very helpful, totally professional and did an excellent job. Highly recommend and you will not find better.

Impressed with the quality of joinery in the double hung sliding sash windows we just had replaced in our 100 year old home in Edinburgh - and even more impressed with the skilled and thoughtful team that installed them. They are named as Silent" windows ... but really they should also be named as "Warm Windows" due to the innovative doubled up draughtproofing."

I would not hesitate to recommend Hugo Carter. After doing a lot of research on sound proofed Windows and also having had an installation done previously with only single glazed glass, there is no point searching for another window manufacturer. Hugo Carter will do the job and their silent windows will cut out the sound by around 43 dB. The installation tradesman were efficient and spent 2 days on the installation.

Excellent original sash windows, and they definitely reduce the noise from road outside - so the noise reduction definitely works!The fitters worked hard and were very accommodating and understanding, always tidying up at the end of the day.Really pleased with the finished product!

Great products and great service. You pay a bit more for Hugo Carter but you can see why.The new windows and doors are very high quality, cosmetically a great match for the other windows in the house and very effective at reducing noise. The team doing the installation were professional, polite, prompt, and very tidy.All round a great experience
