At the European Open Water Swimming Championships 2018 - we needed a bespoke pontoon that would meet the high standards of international elite races, the technical specifications for the start, finish and timing gates that were required as well as being robust enough to withstand the conditions on Loch Lomond when it was in position for over a week. Northern Pontoon did a first class job and the the pontoon structure looked outstanding in the media coverage.I have also used Northern Pontoon when building an oudoor 'swimming pool' in Windermere for the Big Chill Swim - International Winter Swimming Gala. In July each year Henley Festival has 36 hours to build a full concert stage in the river at Henley on Thames. At 9pm on the first Sunday in July, as soon as the last prizes are handed to the Henley Royal Regatta champions the amazing Northern Pontoon begin the process of building a 40m x 12m pontoon base in sections, to float downstream to the stage position. By 6am on Monday morning ESG start constructing the stage and by 4pm on Tuesday afternoon lighting and sound access the completed stage. Northern Pontoon are hugely skilled, accurate and calm throughout the process. It is an annual triumph.
