ColourWheel Art Class Fleet

The class could not be friendlier, the art more fun and available to all abilities. Covid is taken seriously with fresh air and social distancing and masks (if moving about). Sarah is a good teacher who shows how to draw/paint the projects, is really relaxed and accepts all efforts in a positive way.Teamed with Claire who is the sidekick (setting out, changing water, delivering cups of tea, suggesting a desk easel to help my damaged neck, basically doing anything she can to make your class as happy as possible) the class covers several mediums. I last took an art class 45 years ago so a bit rusty and I learned so much and I'm planning to sketch and paint more before the next term. I'm not brilliant at any medium and I don't expect to but I have discovered a great joy but without the big tree down the middle (Bob Ross joke for those in the know).So, a big thank you to Claire and Sarah for their partnership in art and sharing it with us, the pupils

I joined this class because I wanted to acquire some ability to make drawings - or at least to sketch places in place of photography. I wasn't particularly interested in colour media. And yet as the course progressed through crayon and watercolour, acrylic and the remarkable Brusho, I found myself increasingly fascinated by colour and how it is managed. So I enjoyed the whole experience. Both Claire and Sarah were helpful and encouraging; and the class as a whole was an warm and gentle environment in which to explore my very modest aptitude.

Good standard of teaching in a lovely venue

The class is great fun and allows you to use a wide range of art media in interesting projects. Everyone is very friendly and Clare and Sarah are very helpful and supportive.
